California, like many states, has laws to force online retailers in other states to collect their state and local sales taxes for them. As just the beginning of what they can do to retaliate, red states can pass laws protecting their online retailers who refuse to do so.

California has laws unconstitutionally restricting its residents' access to various firearms industry products delivered by mail. Red states can pass laws shielding their retailers there too. Gruesome Newsom's head is going to explode, and it's just tit for tat.

Same with New York. You want to sue retailers shipping X, Y and Z into New York? Oh, well, fuck off.
