The problem is the corporation model that encourages psychopaths and people with psychopathic tendencies to be successful.
High functioning autism can be productive to society, but we are also getting a massive spike in disability. I imagine with psychopaths at the lead the autist engineers will be abused and forced to implement the techno dystopian nightmare.

I know, the flag was a bit much. The way the truck got stuck on the curb made me think at first it was a black drunk guy or an illegal but an Indian white supremacist lmao! They're not even trying anymore.
Oppenheimer was a bit of a tool. Hoenikker a fool? I should really go back and re-read Kurt Vonnegut books.
Hoenikker's big thing the way I saw it was that he just needed something interesting to keep him busy, but he didn't stop to think or care about the implications of what he did and the consequences of his work - if it would hurt others, for instance. He was extremely detached from everything except for his puzzles/projects, and saw them as if they existed in a vacuum. He created ice-nine and also the "father of the atomic bomb" in the book (Cat's Cradle), just to drive the point home.
I'm of the opinion that that's why a lot of autistic people work at the kinds of companies they do in the tech industry; they find it interesting and they aren't worried about the ramifications of their actions and what they might be unleashing on the world.
I think this is why a lot of people are so unreservedly enthusiastic about some of the current AI developments. They see only the positives and don't bother to think about the negatives (or just dismiss them as someone else's problem).

The designer of the lingerie for kids was full maps back then. The designer for their latest line is just posting satan and abortion memes.
Target execs must calculate that the attention brings them more profit in the long run or they are just stupid.
I personally don't understand why swimsuits for pre-pubescent girls have tops. There's nothing under there, even if you buy into the notion that a woman's breasts are taboo.
All it does is reinforce that women need to hide their bodies and held to different standards from a young age.

Oh noes you maybe have to wear a bikini if at all. Though if topless and a guy stares at you, its now an assault.
Maybe they don't shame women enough sometimes here like when they spew and piss in random places. At least drunk dudes will try to piss somewhere where its less of a problem.
They do shame men all the time for literally anything, including an ever increasing list of microaggressions.

I never thought of it like this. Like, pedophiles also like little boys too. Maybe we should make everyone hide all of their skin at all times. If someone wears a short skirt, like, look at what they are wearing. Rape. They are asking for it. You can't walk around dressed like that. Ankles show? Rape.
