Diagnoses are labels for symptoms that may occur in different people for entirely different reasons and that are seen as abnormal.
"Unknown factors" The theories emerging since 2015 and now data emerging shows a link between estrogen hormone regulation in the womb and the risk of autism and other developmental abnormalities. They are also showing the impact of endocrine disruptors during early childhood.
- Long term use of the pill, especially ones that use synthetic ethinylestradiol (EE2) which is proven to be endocrine disrupting and impairs fetal development. Original safety model was three weeks on four weeks off, but for the last decade they have been pushing the blast and cruise model for continuous use for 1+ years, which can have health effects which can be measured for a decade afterwards. The correct/optimum regulation of estrogen related hormones has been shown to regulate the expression of autism related genes and well has heavily influencing neural development.
- High use of products containing phthalates, which are now known endocrine disruptions. A ton of products targeting women are found to be endocrine disruptors to differing degrees; phthalates, paraben, glutaraldehyde, hydroperoxides, oil of turpentine, metals, nitro musks, and essential oils. Many disrupt estrogen regulation by disregulation aromatase and estrogen levels.
- High levels of exposure to BPAs
- Valproic acid used to treat epilepsy and mood approx 5x increase of autism spectrum disorder and childhood autism risk if exposed prenatally.
