So only a fraction of people at the end of the day will get it, if at all.

-Marijuana Pardons; but its only for federal convictions and only where that is the sole conviction. This means that ZERO people get a pardon, but they assume most of his voters are retarded and don't read the fine print.

Even if cynical, Obama and Trump at least pretended they would make things better. What I noticed in the US was after the Obama era especially after 2007, all the blue states started going backwards on every metric. My favorite my favorite cities would have been LA / San Fran / NY but they have gone to complete shit.

The places making progress are in Texas and Florida now. I wouldn't have considered going to Texas before.

I had relatives in LA, so its changed starkly as I have visited every 5 years.

I knew some rich people in Seattle that thought it was fine because it was still nice where they were but getting expensive, but the shit is just expanding out and is even invading their nice up market area now.

Shame about Texas, I would have liked to visit and get some good BBQ before it turned into soy and fail.

The trick if you look at the voting maps, is that if you control the big population centers, with the way the gerymandering works, you can ignore all the rest of the people in the state afterwards. So they dump huge money to take key strategic areas.

The problem with Republicans is that they aren't the smartest bunch whilst the problem with democrats is that they think they have the moral high ground when beating you so they sleep easy at night.
