I've never addressed anyone as 'they' and never will. I don't understand how it really happened. Adjusting language to soothe a genuine man or woman's need for affirmation. At what point did the need to cater them exceed the personal freedom of speech. Be it any country.
It's not hateful or discriminating. I'd argue trying to force someone to change their language is the real discimination.

And yeah i get annoyed by that too. I will attempt to avoid having to talk to those sorts of people whenever possible.

As for "they..." I've kind of decided to let that one slide. I find a lot of people use it when talking about people they definitely know "pronouns" for (the cisgender types), I myself occasionally do it. I try to avoid it in professional writing but outside of that scope it's something I slip into occasionally.

I do see your point if only a certain type of people are not allowed to say certain words. Basically the reality we live in.

Since the start of the pronoun shenanigans, I've felt out of touch. It's the feeling of how back in the day the old people would cling onto saying racist shit that were just simply allowed in their time, but hated in the modern day. We are the old people of today.

It's no wonder the young of today has the most sensative skin and most entitled pieces of shits.

I do agree though that it is socially acceptable to say the racial slurs if you do belong in said race. Not however if you take a DNA test and find out you're 5% african and start shouting the n word everywhere. Rather that it's clear visibly then you're good to go.
