I don't want to put effort into watching MASH, I just watch it if it happens to be on TV. Before the pandemic, there a was a tv station that just ran 24/7 MASH episodes. Maybe it didn't get the ratings which killed it off.

I think it succeeds in a very specific time slot between 5 to 6pm. Where due to nostalgia, boomers watch it before the news and Gen X / millennials watch it after where the after school kids shows used to run.

There is a hilariously high correlation between divorce and youth transsexualism. Social media usage too.

Its real, he has been caught with the cards multiple times. They have had to make it clearer as he has read the wrong parts multiple times.

Also he has tried searching for people that were joining via zoom/teleconferencing multiple times.

They usually brief him but he forgets so they have to make the card clear. Its also why he gets so flustered if the media asks a question that was not pre-approved as he doesn't have the answer card.

For social media usage, I think that's part of the depression/mental health problem coming into play.

Also if you are seen as a sex object or defined by your sex/"gender identity," I'd expect you're less likely to find a good relationship with someone who really cares about you. It's not a recipe for healthy long term relationships.

I consider these to be secondary effects. Also, point of order: not everyone wants to get married.

You are 100% correct about the M*A*S*H 5-6PM time slot. I like M*A*S*H; as far as "sitcom-type" shows go it's one of the best. But not exactly appealing to most under the age of 50.
