Its pretty easy to frame the old testament and new testament in a negative light if you lead with the incest, murder, fratricide etc. Most evangelicals haven't even read the bible. Its not particularly an easy read and it was written for an ancient society. Also the chasers did it first, finding dumb conservative to interview and laugh at is surprisingly easy. Though on the other hand finding brainwashed leftoids is now becoming far to easy.

Putting hardcore LGBTQ books in grade school libraries and classrooms is a bit far. There was a bit of controversy here because pro-lgbtq educators kept trying to get little kids to read books about LGBT sex techniques. I don't think little kids need to know what a straight or gay blow job or rim job is. They can probably just google it when they get to high school. Here the bible was banned in school libraries for sometime, but the lefties undid the ban on political and theological texts to get all their garbage into libraries.

We do need better sex ed in high school though.

The left no longer has the free speech high ground that it used to have 10-20 years ago though. It basically literally changed due to the Obama administration using CRT to divide and conquer the occupy wall street movement. Making bankers accountable is forbidden, whilst hating your neighbor is okay. They have doubled down since then and labeling anything politically incorrect as misinformation that needs to banned, which even includes facts when they do not fit the official narrative. "Truth before facts".

The right is trying to ban hundreds of books from public libraries and schools including manga like "Wandering Son" that were adapted into anime. At least 850. That's not the left and Wandering Son isn't porn. There is nothing wrong with stocking LGBT stories in libraries when no one bats an eye at straight romance you flamboyant hypocrite. I also didn't say Matt Krause wasn't an idiot. He's obviously trying to stir up some sort of campaign, with little effort. Many of the books on his list are political but he obviously didn't check through the list. As the article said, he probably did a key word search on the description.

Its got V For Vendetta on the list too. Though he may have stolen the list from a left wing online group reading recommendations looking at a lot of them. There are lefty groups that compile and lobby to get their book recommendations into public libraries.

The real issue is that radical lefties have nothing better to do with their time so they lobby libraries to stock their books. In fact, authors can make a decent amount of money doing this getting it into public libraries so they can then raise the ranking on digital platforms. On the other hand, conservatives obviously don't read as much and are too lazy to lobby to get their books into the libraries, apart from maybe the bible.

If Matt Krause had a brain, he would have compiled a list of all the political books published by Democrat politicians and found out if they were being put into schools with tax payer money.

They were burning Harry Potter books like a year ago because they claim the author is anti-trans. The same loony right wing pastor you were referring to also burnt Harry Potter like a decade ago.
