Frankly lots of people have been getting shit ED drops lately including me.

Assuming artifact price of 20.5k:

(20.5k - (0.391 * (36k/12) + 0.223 * 2*6k +0.226 * 0.6k)))/0.16 =

The real value of EDs should be = 103.22k

We're basically being ripped off!

I have no idea what are you trying to calculate since it should work in the opposite way, artifacts values is based on ED, not the contrary, so you should do something like

(90k + 6*2k + 36k*2/12 + 0.6k)/5 = 21.72k

Meaning is much better to buy artifacts at <21k or 21.5k than buying ED at 90k.

Because crystals are 2/5 and 1000 is not a big enough sample size.

I agree.
It takes too long to get 16000 artifacts.
I saw his latest ED rate from somewhere (forum).
His ED rate is 16% (1000 artifacts, bad luck).
And my 1000 artifacts ED rate is 16% at that time.

Started decreasing intelligence to have more points for other stats.
But I should keep an eye on my spirit points since they decrease along.

It's not like you need more spirit points (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)
Once you get above some hundreds of SP, you don't need them anymore.
SP damage from Spirit Shield and Spark are proportional to base spirit, and Spirit Stance uses 1 SP/Turn.
No way you'll run out of spirit with or without 80~100 more SP points from high Intelligence.

Managed to survive an RE on PFUDOR after I idiotically forgot to assign AP to my mage's spells.

I have had pretty bad ED rate lately too. From the last batch of 21 Artifacts (I trade my ED to Artifacts when I get 5 of them) I got only 2 ED, and from the previous two batches I got only 3 from each I think. Usually when that happens, I expect to get ED from my own drop Artifacts pretty soon, but that hasn't been happening either. No progress in PABs too for a while, I'm now at 231/234 PABs from Artifacts.

Oh well, it's probably just bad luck as usual. I think sssss2's stats are the most reliable long term statistics at the moment and they are most likely accurate. One day my ratio will balance by getting many EDs in a row, maybe (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

In the last weeks I'm getting a lot of EDs so I think I'm stealing your luck (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)
