QUOTE(arialinnoc @ Jun 15 2016, 17:51) QUOTE(izpekopon @ Jun 15 2016, 17:51) Not really too sure about that. I play without imperil only for Nintendo difficulty and below, i just let it rip. The worry-some part should be IWBTH -> PFUDOR's extra 10% resist. (IMG:[ emoticoner.com] http://emoticoner.com/files/emoticons/onion-head/lol1-onion-head-emoticon.gif?1292862512) (i think) alright, thanks to both

QUOTE(ppp82p @ Jun 15 2016, 22:21) Screen revived, but I missed dawn, so no DwD tonight, I'll do it tomorrow (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) I lied. Now I finished daily round of arenas. Back to 81 stamina, but I have 21 hours to recover it to 99, so theoretically I can do the 75 round arena too (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Also, my shield hit 59,90% Block Chance...I wonder when it'll surpass 60%, with level up or with me upgrading block to lv 43? 63,8% and 56,9% parry with slaughter rapier 63,8% and 64% parry with nimble rapier (what was saying know-all-boy? 2-3% parry difference? But even for a defensive choice for doing stuff like GF. Instead of dropping 5 slaughter suffixes for 4% physical mitigation overall with protection, you drop 400 adb for 1/5 of more parried hits. adb with slaughter -> 7450 adb with nimble -> 7050

with the side advantage of having to replace/re-IW/re-purchase/re-whatever only one piece rather than 5. and that very same Rapier may be used also for DW - which would mean even Overpower may be an useful potency. i guess Nimble may be the second best suffix for a Rapier.

I can see some value for transitional builds, basically when switching from 2H to 1H around the low 200's. Nimble should offer safety when block is still low. For high level players I'm not so sure it helps much. Lower ADB inevitably means slower killspeed and thus more incoming attacks, though I have no intention of doing the math for that one. I don't think there's much of an issue here really, with my set I was able to do 100-round PF IW runs just fine, and while I don't think my gear is bad it's certainly not mind-blowingly amazing either. I can't really say much on GFs as I simply don't do them. Some more defense might be welcome here, but for me GF is mostly mage territory, not sure how many melees do PFfest regularly.

For high level players the increase in parry is worthless. My rapier of nimble (forged to 5) increased my parry from 63.3% to a whopping 65.5% (just tested). Even if I forged it to 45 I really doubt the difference would be significant. And each new level makes the increase even less appealing. 4-5% less damage is instead pretty visible. And PFfest is not so impossible for 1H, if you have enough jug you don't need fullcure every round and you can manage to kill 3-4 mobs before they can start spirit attacks (so more damage is always welcome).

It would be (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) The difference between a non nimble and a nimble forged both to 42 is 7.1% (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) And both my weapons have similar percentile rolls of parry. Maybe your nimble has a worse roll than your slaughter, and plus it's almost unforged (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) And...let's see. Both would give about 4-5% less incoming damage (20% more parries or 75~>80 pmi). But dropping the weapon makes you lose 400 adb, maybe 800 with forging. Dropping five slaugher makes you lose more than 1000 adb WITHOUT forging. I'd say that the difference is noticeable (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) Btw, finally 0 int, yeah! remember the difference between Parry and PMI: parrying a hit means you won't see it at all. having 80% PMI means you will still be hit by 20% of its firepower, and lowering it too much may mean you will fall quite under Spirit Shield's threshold personally i think it's safer to gamble on Parry than on PMI (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
