scythes are always a mistery. they are useless, yet they still have a market. they have a market, but a crappy Exq can fetch higher prices than a decent oddity Mag.

Welp, from some freeshop thread I saw a leg scythe with 98 WD, that is the P value of longsword.
Since it's legendary I assume that it isn't the P value, then maybe Scythes still have the upper hand on longswords.
So they aren't that crappy after all (if only longswords weren't pretty useless too).
But still, after getting one, a second? It's not like you can go double scythe or something (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

you know, current Longswords inherited some ranges from old Scythes. old Longswords used to have less ADB, but they were redundat with Scythes so Tenboro merged them into new Longswords. so i'm pretty positive that 98 is also close to Scythes' L ADB - if not exactly L ADB

Grindfest or IW are great for artifacts.
My experience says that I drop 4-5 times more artifacts in the same number of rounds compared to arenas.
Maybe it's just a case, but also DJNoni said something similar...

In grindfest, mostly, you will fight with 8-9 monsters (specially in 200+ rounds). So, in drop-sense, yes, you should get more artifacts drops, because you will fight more monsters.

My ratio is even higher...even doing dwd, from a "usual round" of arenas (18~20 stamina) I get 1-3 artifacts
That's almost the same amount I get with 90~180 rounds (4~8 stamina) of Pfudor IW

I've been focusing on Arenas and ignoring grindfest. Mostly due that I never seem to have enough time to finish all the 50 round plus arenas before reset.

2 more off topic questions and then I'll stop. Should I switch to grindfest and lay off the trophies, go half and half, or are the trophies better prizes than artifacts/tokens? 2nd question: What improvements are there to improve what snowflake throws at you in the shrine. I mean besides the ultra prize of follower of snowflake?

If you have archeologist 10 - I believe better do grindfest on "not so hard difficulty" like hell or nightmare. Artifact's drop rate do not affected by difficulty. Difficulty affect only equipment's quality drop.
You see, one artifact costs ~18,000 in WTB section (maybe even higher or lower, I didn't check price in past month). So, if you farmed 10 artifacts via sinagle run you may get 180,000 credits. The only good trophy to sell is Noodle, which you can get only from Flying Spaghetti Monster, which you can kill in Blood Arena 5-nokens and 10-tokens battle. It costs ~26,000 credits. As you can see - artifacts way profitable.

No improvements. Snowflake's deal is pure random. It is gamble. Casino. No way you can modify any aspects of it. And this follower of snowflake perk is meh, really, because think about it - you may spend 10,000,000 of trophies and get... peerless cobalt leather of deflection, which will costs ~50,000-100,000. What a unfair trade! xD

No secrets, actually. When I left game I still heed ~100,000 exp to next level. So, when I sit back yesterday to the game I got next level pretty fast. And in yesterday and today I got one more level by arenas and two grindfest. And one hour ago I obtained one more level. So you can see that I did 3 levels in 2 days xD Right now I need 3,052,241,933 more to next one ^_~
I did some tagging, rating, expunge and other stuff in gallery, so maybe I get few extra EXP from this tiny bonuses? =/
