QUOTE(Fap.Fap @ Feb 24 2016, 18:28) 9euro~ is the usual price, but the first months its wasted money since the Hath/day needs to building up. Im at 3,3/day now with 8,55 GB filled.. I dont run it all the day so count maybe 6-10 hours of the day, so aprox 1hath a day for me right now, but at 100 GB filled even that time a day should give me a really nice amount of free Hath a day... depending on your internet connection you should consider it
my internet connection? 30KB/s upload speed and you cannot do anything else? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) nah, i guess i'll resort to an external server...

What's the last thing you've accomplished? Suddenly going at the top of the page to read the title, thinking I accidentally clicked on Ask the Experts or the other "questions about HV" topic instead of "What's the last thing you've accomplished?", and no, I wasn't in the wrong topic. But I'm on the line of offtopicness here.

Got fed up with trying to IW my Wakizashi to OP5 (after spending 40-50 Amnesias) and switched to 1H+Power. Only had to buy Power Armor to complete a starter set.
It is certainly faster than 1H+Shade, but requires a bit more concentration because of the more frequent buffs, higher draught usage and because I'm not used to it yet. I expect the situation ease up a bit as I build up Heavy Armor proficiency, which seems to get up really slowly (tried no Haste style too, but wasn't impressed). After 2-3 days of playing I'm at ~145 proficiency. Now I have to consider doing some IW for the armor and possibly soulfusing most of the set. By soulfusing I could get ~150 ADB more, of which 100 is from my Slaughter Helmet alone.
I might also buy Legendary Power Leggings of Balance to improve my accuracy (173.5%) a bit, if I see them being sold somewhere. Leggings are my last Magnificent armor piece.

if your 1H prof is already maxed (as it seems to me, since you mentioned that you were playing 1H Shade) Heavy prof will "only" raise your HP tank - +3500 HP = +18% at my level with maxed prof - and your Curshing/Piercing/Slashing mitigations. speaking of which, i suggest you to assign only the first level of Slashing since it's quite uncommon of a kind

Bigger HP tank helps with MP and SP draught usage (less Cure and Spirit Shield hits) and the mitigations rise actually more than I expected (you can confirm this by unslotting the abilities and looking at the mitigation difference), so it's not insignificant either. You are right about the Slashing mitigation being lower priority, but since I had the AP, I put two levels in it. Overall the difference to 1H+Shade is really small, mainly just different frequency with buffs and more MP draughts needed. By the way, some monster trainers might be taking advantage of the common "Slashing mitigation is not needed" tip. One of the highest SP damages I got recently was from Mieu (Mechanoid), it was ~130-140+ SP for a Slashing damage crit. Note that the basic attack of Mieu is Piercing, so you wouldn't know the skill is actually Slashing before it hits you. I bet there are other monsters like this, but there are few [ hvlist.niblseed.com] notable monster names that have Slashing as basic attack too. I'm not saying the tip is wrong, but I would say it's better to spend the AP if you have spare points.

Heavy in general are weak to Crushing, Light (especially Shade) are weak to Piercing... at this point the Slashing-weakest kind would be Cloth, which most relies on Evade. i too know that SP Slashing attacks can be strong, but if i was a trainer and had to choose between Slashing and Piercing, i'd definitely pick a Piercing attack since it's more versatile (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

After all the monster list reflects this too (monsters/attack types for Piercing/Curshing/Slashing is 1895/1568/852). I suppose some trainers just want to gamble a bit and see what the results are. Now that I think of it, would be an interesting experiment to change the skill damage types for a monster that appears in battles frequently for a month or so, and see if there is a difference in Battles Won and Killing Blows. I would do it myself, but at the current win rate of my monster I would need too long time to see if there is difference.

QUOTE(f4tal @ Feb 24 2016, 19:33) cut That's a really good income indeed. I did not keep count of income when I played well all arenas + some stuff and re to see, but 200k per day isn't impossible theoretically Personally I make around 60-80k per day (and I buy around 5-10k of mana potions and draughts per day, and 5-10k of spirit ones per 2-3 days) if I play some GF or IW (around 500 turns) + 15/20 re, without arenas (when I do, I do them almost like f4tal, first five in pfudor, then iwbth until the lv 55 one [if you do the 45 turn one in iwbth, the 55 turns it's the same with 10 extra rounds, and the 50 rounds one is actually easier than the 40 and 45 ones], and finally all the other in nintendo difficulty). Arenas are very good for credits, the second page ones give about 5.000 extra credit drop for the first half and 10.000+ each arena for the second half. Plus the 1000 of clear bonus. And the drops you sell to bazaar are something too. Don't underestimate arenas, the credit drop in arenas is around 5/10 times more than in IW and GF, in quantity and in frequency too. In the 100+ turns arenas, in the schoolgirls' rounds, 200-300-400-500 credits per turn average. And if you drop artifact and receive bindings from monsters, extra income (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I have still to raise some abilities tho, like archaeologist, I have only 1/10 (2-3 artifacts per day if I'm lucky, 1 average). Last thing I have accomplished: salvaging my helmet by mistake, it wasn't locked (I dropped it and instantly equipped it, sigh), and I was raising its potencies. 200k wasted to rebuy it (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif) Got a Shade Fragment from monsters...is it worth at least 1/4 of my loss? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) shopbot says 15k. i was forging an armor of mine but last time i purchased them i did bad math and now i'm stuck at lv4. would you sell it for 30k? or exchange for two artifacts, as you prefer This post has been edited by Scremaz: Feb 25 2016, 02:26

Bought a Magnificent-grade piece of Phase armor far above my level for under 20,000c. Scrapped it.
The HG Cloth it gave is worth about that much, and there were 8x Scrap Cloths and 8x Energy Cells.
