I used to wear Light Armor too, before 2018, combined with Dual Wielding and/or Niten style 😆 After that I try to wear Heavy Armor because the first Legendary Armor I have is Heavy, and since that time, I'm addicted with Hvy Armor+Sword & Shield combo

Haha yeah, I salvaged (and rebought) my cold set when I saw it could get me DD7. My holy set was outperforming it everywhere, so I thought I might as well sell the mats rather than have two very expensively forged mage sets. I'm also about to finish off my drop training, with assimilator coming soon after.

And I reached level 350.

2 general abilities, all one-handed ones, all light armor ones, 9 deprecating ones and 7 supportive ones (incl. 1 spike shield) maxed.

I ran out of ability points, and because of stuff, I should be saving up credits for other goals first before investing into abilily boost. Then again, my shortage of mastery points will be even worse for a long time from now on unless I pay a fortune for manifest destiny (currently at 1/7).

I’m not really setting long-term goals in HV, but I’m curious to see whether I’ll ever hit level 400 – or even 375.

It depends how you play and the element of your main weapon, but I think it is good to max all the spike shields for all melee styles, even 1H. (If you don't need the extra elemental defense they grant, then I suppose you could just train the first level for the puny spike damage).

That way you can change your infused element (if you use infusions) to match the day of the week and change your spike shield to match (this tactic works best if the element of your weapon is demonic or hallowed). This is best even for 1H. If you believe in this philosophy; there are some players who maybe don't.

I have no Manifest Destiny training and about half my level of Ability training. Only have 6 deprecating maxed, and a couple trained to just one level deliberately, to have less targets and save mana. I max all my general and supportive training except for Arcane Focus which isn't for melee characters.
