Had to buy Scrap Metal to cover repair costs for Power Armor.

I miss the days when I salvaged more than I could hope to use. This hasn't been the case since equipment prices were downgraded.

Today I tried using Bubble Gum and Flower Vase for the first time, after I don't know how old (I think I had only used it once to see the effects, but I don't remember when it was). I even had to read the Wiki to remember the effects of these items. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

As the duration is short, I decided to use in the Ring of Blood (Flying Spaghetti Monster). The result was above expected, especially the damage caused by OFC.

That's impressive the highest damage I've done is 3 million with gum and vase. Well that's with imperial too. Using gum and vase can get addicting especially as a mage. It would be very nice to have a hath perk that would increase their droprate.

After dying 2x last week, finally I still stay alive in HV until now.
I hope I didn't jynxed myself tho ;p

I forged another PTWD and I got Spellweaver on one and Archmage on the other. I also have two PSWD where I'm trying to do the same thing but the item world has not been very agreeable. Plus I still have one unforged. Once the next update hits I'll probably spend the rest of the year in item world for all my gear. Getting your desired potency is a real time consuming process.

Oh wow I didn't know it was changing I thought everything was going to get wiped and we would have to grind for our desired potencies again.

we don't know for certain, but the plan is that they get wiped and we need to IW to make it upgradable

I'm curious how one-handed mage is going to affect the item world rework.

There were two motivations for it. One, IW takes too much stamina & time for Isekai. Players have shown that they can do it nonetheless. And two, using the tower mechanic for IW would make melee useful again in Persistent. But it's been several seasons and players have discovered that melee sucks so bad that 1H mage is still better even for the Tower. So, even if you bring the Tower mechanic to Persistent, by itself it still doesn't make melee useful again.

interesting observation. I guess 1h mage will still be a strong style, especially as it doesn't depend on penetrator/spellweaver. You're probably right that 1h mage will compete with melee for IW. But it could also be that we strong mages can clear IW with scrolls. And, I know of just 2 players that have done isekai floor 100 with 1h mage, the rest uses 1h + shield. We'll see. Maybe the changes are so big, that it changes everything.

It is not difficult or very complicated to do this. There are several options. What is missing is willingness. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

I repeated the experience, now using DW + Power Slaughter.

As the DW + Power Slaughter set has more ADB (17,384) than the 1H set (14,447), as expected, the damage was higher.

The hardest thing is to choose the exact moment to use OFC. You need a little luck to get at the same time: Penetrated Armor (3 stacks), Stun (this is the worst because the duration is too short, and Stuns cannot be overwritten regardless of source or duration), Imperil and Spirit Stance. Nor can I use Heartseeker, Bubble Gum and Flower Vase early in the battle, because in this case the monsters die too fast with common attacks.

Dang, and here I thought my 900k OFC damage was pretty decent.
