First crack at pfest, just to see whether I could do it.

Verdict: Yeah, I probably could, on a lazy weekend with nothing better to do. Quit after just over 500 rounds due to lack of time but I wasn't even remotely in danger yet and I don't think doubling the damage would be quite enough to kill me.

The problem arises, once your HP regen can't compete with the minor damage anymore. You already used health draughts which implies, Regen alone ended up failing to do so. Melee is so slow, you would need to cure way too many times per round, and things would quickly be very annoying to play.
That said, you can always Fus Ro Dah to mitigate this to an extend. If played correctly, and you have enough attack, you can get rid of 3-4 enemies before they do anything, though the rest will still nuke you as normal, as enemies recover MP and Spirit during stun as well.

Also you used quite a few mana potions, some spirit potions and weaken. That's not a good sign for the first 500 rounds. Well, provided the entire thing isn't supposed to be a pain and you wanna gain something. That's only getting worse.


That said, a full pfest is generally not very worthwhile as 1h. And not without max Crystarium either. Doing a few hundred rounds while chilling is the best way of doing so, if you have some stamina left after arenas. But for that you'd need to get away from weaken.
For me personally I feel like pfest gets too cure heavy (outside of short bursts of bad rng) once I hit around round 300-350, This is where a draught helps, or some occasional weaken on a few enemies of a 9 enemy round, with a just used up cannon. Alternatively Fus Ro Dah, that you can use every round, but requires more active care. That's why the "lazy" way of doing it, is stop around round 300-400. Obviously everyone is different there. Takes about an hour for me, which lines up with RE. With more attack this can also be faster, but nothing beats a mage.

Oh yeah, I didn't mean to suggest that it would have been economically sound to do so, just that I think my resources might be sufficient to do it at all. Either way I probably wouldn't try it again unless I were extremely bored and/or motivated and/or better equipped.

1h is actually so stupid, they can do more or less anything. People clear over 100 floors in Isekai tower against enemies that have HP like persistent school girls maybe have, and 10 times the power.
As long as you have patience, scrolls and the other consumables, it's "only" a matter of time.

1h ends up less about "can I do it", and more about "how lazy can I do it", with most content. But if the tower really gets to persistent.. I just hope it caps at floor 50. (like forge level 50) For everyone's sanity. If not, you might get a better reason than GF to test your limits.

It was good that I have risen a little more my level, besides having reinforced defensive aspects first. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) It was much less suffered than the previous floor (a few days ago), and almost 18 minutes less. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

In the past season things were easier because I made large investments in equipment and upgrades (I spent just over 17.8 m pC). (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) This time I made more modest investments ("only" 4.7 m pC). (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

I thought about making no investment, but surely this would mean more suffering than acceptable. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

No. No. To continue rising I would have to make many investments (more upgrades and/or change the equipment). For me it does not pay to spend so much just for a Peerless Voucher. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) And it would still have all the extra suffering and the huge time needed for it. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

Maybe I play one more week, just to earn a little more extra credits. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I was already doing it. Basically, I applied Weaken and Imperil in almost every monsters, from the beginning. And used Absorb more or less from round 40. And Silence in the last 10 rounds.

Today I played the floor 50 and I tried to use all these 4 spells from the beginning. It was much safer (I did not even need to use any elixir; few sparks), but much slower. I do not intend to do this anymore. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I guess it's nice to get a little credit bonus every few months for all the suffering so just be careful because who knows if Snowflake might give you something awesome in that extra week to trick you into playing more (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Isn't PFUDOR +50% at Floor 50 the exact same difficulty as last season's tower? I thought I read that the difficulty was slightly lowered, or something?

- Minor correction to the difficulty calculation for Tower difficulty. It should now actually reach PDUFOR at Floor 40 rather than a few floors earlier.

The problem was that pfudor started at 32 (I think) last season, and we had 8 floors of PFUDOR before we got PFUDOR+1 at 41, when it was supposed to be PFUDOR started at 40 (which is did this season), and +1 at 41. Everything after 40 was already ok, but the floors pre 40 were rearranged.

Unless I fucked up my notes, this seasons is:
1-7 Normal (unranked until 5)
8-11 Hard
12-16 Nightmare
17-21 Hell
22-26 Nintendo
27-31 IWBTH
32-40 PFUDOR
41+ PFUDOR+
Gaining a level of difficulty with each floor after

I'm not sure but I think you might have misworded what you meant to say (maybe you will edit soon). Not sure. That list you posted looks roughly like last season's to me.
