Oh yeah I also managed to accomplish something with early bird, as for the first time in three seasons I managed to make it into full shade so early, or so I would say but it took until the very last moment I could play to get the last piece. Now to cross fingers for some leg shades IF they ever come, but this time I think I'm more interested in the fire mage stuff, hopefully it's a success story and not one where even Normal is impossible to break through.

Haven't accomplished anything in a while, outside of feeding my monsters and doing my REs (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif). For some reason, HV has started to lag hard a lot when I've been playing the last 6 weeks, both on normal and on alt.hentaiverse. It always lagged intermittently at parts of the day, but it's doing it all the time now, and it seems to be an HV thing, since my internet is perfectly fine.

There are many ways to help the community that have nothing to do with galleries. Running a free service for low level players, maintain the wiki, maintain / building monster database, making useful scripts and maintaining them throughout updates, helping to answer questions on the forum, making a discord or IRC bot, helping non-English players to play hv, etc. If you look at the MVP list you'll see several names that you can know from the HV forum.

I feel it is very important to balance elemental mitigations as well, and was willing to spend tens to thirty millions to achieve it. However, I am fortunate that I did not finish it yet, and didn't spend much. Because Tenboro will wipe the Item World from everything, right?

I read from before that you favor fire shield. If you still follow this, I think you have too much fire mitigation. Because your fire shield will give you extra 25% fire mitigation, right?

I have tested and analyzed a lot of things - a monster damage distribution was done a long time ago.

The conclusion is, balancing mitigations is not meaningless. But it is a waste of time and credits.
More than 70% of their damage is physical. (and crushing/piercing/slashing type)

If you are weak, buy better equipment and forge.
If you are strong enough, monsters' elemental attacks won't pose much of a threat to you.
If you are a strong mage, you'll get very few elemental attacks.

I have a ruby shield, a ruby helmet and zero fireproof. Flame spike shield is a plus.
I'll replace my helmet with a savage one, but it's not urgent.

But I have already spent more than a hundred credits on some inefficient IW works, and Tenboro said that it will take a year or more.
So I finished this.
