I'm sorry, but I have to tell this story of today's Hverse. It's... crazy. Very crazy.

After another Isekai day, I decided to dump my week's worth of trophies into the shrine. Heavy armor, as always, after all I never seem to get power armor. Heck, in Isekai I got 4 legendary plate armor. 0 Power. Today? Nada. Okay, same as last week. And the week before. And the.. okay, you get the idea. To rub it in, the 10 cost rob gave me this little thing. Well, I guess if dwd, other arenas AND ALL THE TROPHIES refuse to cooperate, at least some mercy has been shown. I take it. Even the capacitator. (grr)

Now then. Persistent is more luck, right? Time for dumping noodles (about 14?). And hey, I got myself something to replace my exquisite power helmet. A legendary power helmet.
While being on the roll, I also offered my 25 festival coupons and a few (rather valuable but whatever) oldies I had still lying around. I tried for 1h (I need a better rapier) and heavy armor (I really need some better boots ) Result: 2 legendary, the rest magnificent. I hoped for at LEAST a mag power boots, but nada. NADA. Also generally, what the heck? Those were quite a few t7 and a bunch t8 trophies. 25 tickets -> 1 legendary was already bad, but from the t8s I expected a little more than just 1 out of.. 8? Or so. Both were useless.

Now then, at least the noodle helmet was there. After one item world I did a random encounter and what dropped: Magnificent Ruby Power Boots of Slaughter. I laughed hard. Even more when I saw the % values later. Like this thing is probably the single best drop I've gotten, when it comes to % values.

This game is rigged. Not sure if I should say "apology accepted" but still.


I guess in the end that's why people play.

You got more legendaries then the calculated average drop chance; you should count that as luck.
Besides, even if you had dropped more legs., the vast majority would have been either not good due to pref/suf/kind or not good due to low stats.

I don't think that's true. I'm not sure about exact odds, but from the tiers I do know them (the ones you can upgrade and noodles), it's roughly 4x every tier higher, with one exception. That said, noodles are 2 %, so I'd assume tier 7 is ~8% or more. One legendary out of 25 tries is not above average. Tier 8 should be even higher.

Unless these tiers are just heavily diminishing, this was QUITE unlucky. From my dwd experience, I also think 1/25 is massively unlucky.

Usually it's recommended for people to sell their trophies but from what we've seen in isekai it's a valid option to jump into the magnificent+ train when no items are available so you definitely won with that helmet. It's funny when you drop something that fits exactly on the slot that you need like those boots (really good rolls for a Mag) and who knows, maybe Snowflake knows and lets you have stuff to get you hooked. Now you'll drop a peerless to get you motivated but not many items you can use yourself to keep you grinding (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Get a Bon-Bon Figurine, which my 21st type and 36th Figurine drop in total. So after about 2 years and right before lv.450, I finally get the OFC. No, don't try to collect them yourself if you want the OFC (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
Just test it with the Mage set and it work as shit as I expected (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
Next goal may be collect a full set ponies, well may be as difficult as to reach lv.500 for me

Just shrined this in isekai from one noodly appendage. Think it's my first non-stocking-stuffer legendary shrine.

This got me thinking, what kind of damage does a mage deal to a SG + imperil? 1.5m+? Or is that only reserved for DD9? Or maybe they kill it in one hit (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I am not sure how I compare to the bigshots (and actually, kinda curious at other replies you get for this), but when using:
* fully-forged LFWD staff
* 4+1 unforged Radiants with 80% prof factor
* Imperil'd/MagNet'd SG (magnet to eliminate partial resistance)
* Infusion (25%) bonus
...I can crit an SG for over 4-500k (6-700k with Bubble or Flower), about half that for regular monsters (they tend to have more buffs to Fire). No doubt low compared to what to some Lv500s with DD999 can cast, but it is certainly faster for me than melee (though much less fun--I prefer the theory and strategy of Niten and 1H-Mage, even if they are severely nerf'd by comparison).

If someone replies that is, but damn that's powerful and from what I see on your sig you don't have any DD? If so you are on your way to becoming a fiery behemoth with such damage already. I exaggerated a bit with the 1-hit KO with the T3 spell but it definitely doesn't take long to take one SG out at DD9 from the looks of it (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

Reached level 300 in Persistent.

Right now, I doubt I’ll ever hit 350. But you never know. In the meantime, I can set my sights on agility level 275, which is just a few hundreds of millions of EXP points away.

(Playing mostly REs these days. The busier I am on other fronts the more likely it is I get more than half of my daily EXP from the dawn event.)

One good thing about level 300 is that it gets easier even for a miser like me to auto-bazaar most of my drops.
