This incredibly average run (based on trophy drops) ended up putting a smile on my face with its total amount of turns needed.

Fuck. I forgot running out of potions was a thing because it's been so long since that happened to me on persistent.

Sure, I'd take it. Just hit 102 today. Leather for sure, since cloth might stop being adequate protection soon. But for now I'd take both.

Not so long ago, I ran out of one sort of elixirs for the same reason. I think I still survived somehow. It was one of those "Can I already do this easy arena on PFUDOR/IWBTH/whatever?" experiments.

How are you going to deal with that? Play enough on easier levels to drop the potions you need? Or buy more potions with credits you’ve made?

Persistent: Buy, unless you don't care or even better want to avoid getting exp. Even on isekai with its much higher prices, everything but elixirs is basically better bought than grinding on a lower difficulty. Given the nature of Isekai, you probably always care about EXP there.

You can idle your play away and 1H has extremely low consumable usage. I think some drop chance training is required though.

Yes, Shields and their Blocks raise your survivability a LOT.
I also play Niten at first, then switch to DW and now I switch again to 1H+Shield

Throw regen, and if you are generous, some draughts in, and you are good until regen runs out.
