... and I imagine sssss2 will soon manage the same thing... but with just a gold star, and without the gold award either.

Sucks that you can't go up multiple tower levels in a day; basically ensures that no one who starts late can reach the top.

Then again judging by the levels on items in the bazaar (higher than my current level in persistent after 9 years), I wouldn't be doing that anyway.

(Started isekai today; one-and-two-shotting monsters so far; level 43 IWBTH.)

Assuming i've understand rules right, there would be few clears of tower per day for last month of isekai.

But anyway reach top 10 would require huge investments of persistent credits.

Also, i saw bosses and probably even SG in Item world, but it is very rare.

For buying good equipment. To get in top 10 would need exceptional equipment, you can obtain 1 or 2 pieces by self-drop, but rest will need to buy anyway, prices are crazy and mostly in persistent credits.

Encountered a Boss monster (Mithra) in the tower and it had less hp than one of the normals (46052, Uj Ibn Anaq). Only 572,930 to 602,920. The Floor is 60 so the HP mod is only 2x.

Predicted this was possible after the HP nerf to the final round of PGC and SPL.

My equipment last season was mostly random bullshit I got cheap, and it wasn't forged much at all.

Last season tower were easier, right? For this season he rebalanced tower so it kills you rather then just turn you down because of many hours of daily grind. People giving up because it become too difficult without better equipment.

I think this season is mostly competition for best build, where quality of equipment matters.

Crystarium 2 unlocked. Probably going for Soul Catcher next, given that'll add up by the time I hit 500.

Think about it this way: at the moment, the monsters gain 5% damage per floor, but the rounds are capped at 100.

Last season, they gained 5% damage every 5 floors, but the rounds also went up by 5 per floor... and it's 2% damage per round.

At floor 100, that was well over 400 rounds, so about +800% damage increase by the end? Before even including the PF+whatever damage.
