Touched Isekai for the first time since just before Easter, it's most a coincidence I stop right then.

Soulfused a few slightly interesting equips and turned in the Peerless Voucher.

Currently 36th on Floor 51 of the tower.

And just start the Floor, the plan is to peck away at it over multiple days when I have nothing to do in persistent.

Took just over a month.
Rank 53rd on floor 52.
So close but whatever not going try, Should have just been doing SGs on normal for the trophies.

Finally got to the second perly, I was worried for a moment that I wasn't gonna make it in time, but all's well that ends well. I'm not feeling lucky right now so I'm gonna let it go to Persistent and then I'll try my luck another time. But more importantly...

I'm free!

Now you get to come back as the villain for season 3 and fight all your old hero friends!

Playing with the idea of trying a mage set on isekai S2 for fun I decided to work on my emergency mage persona in persistent (abandoned for a few hundred levels) in an attempt to get the Monsterbation bindings up and working and there were several incidents while doing so:

-There was this one dude, this tiny fella here ' that I missed and it broke the script so on my first 2 arenas I had to manually select all the spells, one by one, to finish the rounds until I found the culprit.

-After correcting the mistake and being the first time I ever had 2 working personas at the same time I clicked on one of the profiles that appears on the extra settings button (which I had removed until now), little did I know that I had selected the melee one and I had to play arena 3 as an actual physical mage, only noticed around half of the arena and didn't feel like clicking on the spells one by one again but I was impressed it was able to deal enough damage not to die.

-Getting confident about the script finally working I tried 2 extra arenas, and to my horror I noticed the MP bar going down like crazy to the point I had to use Mana Elixirs along with whatever potions I needed to finish...the 20 and 25 round arenas.

-Decided to go from Hell to Normal and try DwD thinking it would be fast and easy. Took few turns but 38+ mins and I was mad that I could've done a PFUDOR run with way more items obtained and lower clear time.

In the end I decided not to bother with mage for a while but I liked a new binding so much that I moved it to the melee persona and the novelty of said binding was enough that I consumed more stamina after that than in the last month, feels nice to be back to persistent.

Now you get to come back as the villain for season 3 and fight all your old hero friends!

So what happens in season 2? Become an extremely careful hero that goes to extremes just to be on the safe side perhaps?

I have been doing Tower Rush this season in mage style, I will issue my data after I reach Floor 50.
I give some idea which might be useful
.Become mage at Lv.310, hurry or your Prof. will be poor (even I did that, my Prof. is still poor because mobs' level is 100+ higher than me)
."All-Magnificent" should be the minimum requirement (with this set you can farm Nitendo or IWBTH)
.3+2 should be the only choice since it's nearly impossible to full-forge the gears or buy EE hath perk
.If you want to do Tower Rush with mage, give up the staff, buy/get Waki of Nimble/Battlecaster and Buckler of Barrier (Don't know if Force Shield can be a choice)
.Aether Shard and Scrolls are very important for Tower Rush, Featherweight and Infusion are not.
.I don't know if mage is really quicker in the Tower, especially at Floor 50+

So what happens in season 2? Become an extremely careful hero that goes to extremes just to be on the safe side perhaps?

If you update your Monsterbation, this problem should be sort-of-solved (ie, failed bindings shouldn't cause the entire script to break, since they're encased in a try-catch block now).

So what happens in season 2? Become an extremely careful hero that goes to extremes just to be on the safe side perhaps?

Well, you should be able to find out soon, but the tediousness of the tower should be getting limited a little while the difficulty should be increased a bit at higher levels, so season 2 is more likely to be about making a reasonable effort rather than an absurd test of patience.

Thanks for the info, then again I might not try to climb the tower with the style given how difficult it is to get a set of those going on, maybe just play around for a while for fun. That said I realized that while my abilities were slotted none were maxed to my level so let's add one more to my list of failures heh.

I updated it before trying and I got a message like "bindings are invalid, function has been disabled" so while indeed not everything was broken the end result was the same, I could use draughts on demand but attacking was out (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) (I guess in a real emergency I could try to modify it mid-battle but in a 5 round arena it wasn't worth the trouble), but good to know simple errors don't throw it out of whack anymore.

Reached lv410, squeezed 7 EDs from a 10 PA batch (tried to repeat this stupid feat a few more times, failing miserably of course), unlocking 60th monster, upgraded to Tristar for the hell of it, added a few hath perks, gathered (though not yet forged) a modestly decent Charged Fire set. Next objective, Tokenizer and DD1&2 and then maybe fuck a Martian if it's not too hot out. Maybe not that last thing. Yeah definite no, not enough towels and it sounds sticky.

Finally I cleared Tower Floor 50 as Battlecaster

discuss:
.Lv.350+ is recommended because of base mana (and some mage abilities are also important).
.Waki of Nimble + Buckler of Barrier or Waki of Battlecaster + Force Shield are recommended if you want to do Tower Rush seriously, they are more defensive than mine and should work well with Mana Elixir. I don't know whether Waki of Nimble + Force Shield are suitable or not.
.Aether Shard is very important, not only gives me 10% Mana C, but also rise my MAcc to 200%.
.Scrolls are also important since they're helpful for defence, for Infusions and Featherweight, they're less important.
.Elemental Day is so powerful, if it's possible, only do Tower Rush on Elemental Day.
.Both Weaken and Silence are very defensive, while Absorb is not.
.It's very dangerous to cast Arcane Focus without attention, please cast it when most mobs died.
.With better equipments, more patience, more supplement (Shards&Scrolls), it should be possible for a Battlecaster to reach Floor 60 or higher. I don't know the limit as I'm too lazy.
.I don't know if it's quicker than melee build, I give up my melee build at Lv.310 and sold everything.
