I'm still below lv300.
Finished first item world on a weapon.
Cleared lv250 arena in 1 hour, which is 40% less compared to my previous records.

What is the optimal time of clearing arenas? I'm lv270 one handed, on PFUDOH it takes me 80-90mins to beat the lv250 arena, is that too slow?

you should check your turns instead of the real time, maybe it's just your t/s that is bad

Yes my t/s is really bad, partly because I play it on my phone. I think my turns are close.

But even if it's hover attack only I can't get anywhere above 1.5 t/s, thanks to the GFW of my great shithole country, and I don't have access to high quality VPNs

I was planning to save up at least 500 hath and get something else, but meh, that felt so far away. Perhaps this perk will make my journey towards the next one a bit easier to tread.

VV is useful for any style
EE is useful for mage, especially Lv.300ish mage
SS is useless

After VV, the most useful perk for melee is IA3 and DD1

Why so?

In my playstyle, some extra spirit would definitely come in handy when grinding through the earlier, easier stages of long arenas. My playstyle is far from optimized, yet I can haz some preferences, no? Heavy use of the spirit stance, when viable, makes those rounds a lot faster.

True, 1000 hath is a lot of currency for only 10% more base spirit. Due to the price alone, SS is not among my top priorities.

Did some basic level 5 upgrades for the first time in isekai, my character got WAY stronger even though I'm still only level 315. Completed tower floor 39 and rank 99 now, so will probably be able to make top 100.

My character has only 4088 attack but feels close to invincible defensively. I think I could clear 100 floors with this character but it would take a long, long time. Pondering trying to make top 50 now but it feels wrong given how little time I put into isekai. Maybe I am in for a rude awakening when I reach floor 41?

There are at least 2 people past floor 100. 2nd place was at floor 102 last time I heard. 1st place has a ridiculous lead - something like floor 150. It's not feasible for most of us, though - at floor 96 it's something like 16 hours of real-time play per floor, and of course that has to be split over many days...

I had to give up DW - I cleared floor 90 with it, and then died enough times on 91 to kill my motivation for it. It's just too much time wasted. I'm only really going further to try to stay in the top 10, and because I know rank 2 isn't that far away.

Spirit Stance cost little. The major consumer of spirit is Spark and Spirit Shield, they consume spirit in proportion (not in fixed value)

So increase spirit base value is generally useless

Isekai league seems pretty fun, did my first 5 floors today and have made peace with not getting top 100. Just clearing the first 5 floors put me at rank 925, which seems pretty cool, though with the way the ranking works there are probably...dozens of us!

I'll be looking forward to jumping in the start of next league, keeps things more fresh than trying to get perfect gear on the main account.

Didn't realize that soulfusing cost is halved in isekai until just now, so I soulfused my rapier. Also just dropped my first legendary piece that I can wear! I have 4623 attack damage now.

Pushed too far in the tower without using Weaken so I had to waste a Health Elixir at round 90 of tower floor 41. Wasted a Spirit Elixir later on, too. My first used elixirs. Now ranked 89.

Also have full shade for the first time, so while my defense is better than ever I have to be careful of higher randomness in taken damage because if something does hit me I am extra soft now.

But it's soulbounded so it's coming back with me (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wub.gif). I wonder how many actually soulbounded their stuff and if some items will survive as a memento or something.

i think most of the people keep the expensive or good stuff after salvaging them

A while ago, a forum friend who likes the Isekai mode told me to collect all the easy credits before the season end. Okay, I’ve been doing that. (Truth be told, I should be spending more time outside HV these days, but when I need escapades... I truly need them.)

I had given up on Isekai almost completely after February or so. I had some basic gear ranging from average to exquisite, very small amounts of items, and even less credits.

Today I reached 580,000 Isekai credits. My level is 170, and I’ve done all the arenas and rings that allows. Getting to Eve of Death, not to mention Flying Spaghetti Monster, would be a lot grindier than what I’ve been doing so far, so I doubt I’ll be hitting 700,000 during these last weeks.

Only time will tell.

Am I correct that every ring gives me one token of blood? In other words, it can be a good idea to beat Konata in the ring every day?

It's not a guaranteed token, but if one does drop, it'll be a blood token due to chaos tokens not being in isekai

Edit: probably worth mentioning, up to 1m of credits will remain in isekai for the next season, so you won't get any persistent credits if you don't get more than 1m at the end of the season (outside of player to player trading, which is currently disabled during last spurt)

I don’t see a problem there. If I’m able to make over 600,000 now, I’m guaranteed to reach 1,000,000 next season.

Isekai will be way different in all subsequent seasons, though. Starting with a million credits, or even just half a mill, is mighty practical compared to starting with zero.

Except that in the very beginning, the bazaar will be lacking equipment and very many items, right?

Most likely yeah, I don't imagine (but I don't know for sure) that season 1 items will stick around for season 2 in the bazaar

But yeah, mostly just a headsup since it seemed to be what you wanted to do

Early game benefit is mostly just access to pots immediately, but its not a significant advantage or anything
