I used 845 amnesia shards to get 5/5 potencies on my shield, but failed.

Has an update been made to make 5/5 impossible?

sounds like extremely bad luck

I got wind 5 holy 5 on my shield in isekai, so unless something changed in last few months, but it is likely just bad luck

I recently spent over 600 to get 5/4 on a rapier.

My IW simulator recorded a worst-case scenario of over 2000 shards for J5/C5 on armor, and somewhere around 1200 for a staff. A force shield is more like a staff, since it only has 5 possible potencies. I think you will probably get it soon. Good luck (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Peerless Force Shields are really nice. I accidently imperiled after Spark of Life was tiggered like six times in the tower and I didn't get defeated. Sure gave me quite the scare thou.

Edited to add; what seems to be the current Credit-to-Bit Monies equivalent rate, anyway? I've seen a spread between 70M-90M for a Gold star, which would seem to suggest.... what, ~850,000C:1$ exchange, roughly?

Learned betting against RNGsus by buying figurines and shrining them in the hopes of getting something worth 15K+ to buy more figurines with by selling is... dumb, on my part. D'oh.

The average return from figurines is something like 12k-ish, but that's over a huge sample, so yeah, that's definitely betting... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Most binding and material prices are low to begin with, and some are falling even now. Figurines can't give the rare materials either, so no phazons or anything.

See, I figured "well, they seem to drop two items, so if I buy one at 14,500, and get at least one item worth 14,500 or more, or if I get two items totalling more than 14,500, I'll at least break even or make a small profit slowly but surely".

This is why I don't go to Casinos; I think I'm way more clever than I actually am.

Well, one thing to consider is that any kind of gambling item like that trends towards the price at which it breaks even in large enough quantities to eliminate the RNG - so at best you would've gotten lucky, but if you'd carried on, you'd probably end up wasting your credits or time anyway (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Eh, I'll still probably go for it, but only as, like... a once a day roll type thing. Who knows? Might get another Binding of whatever the hell it was that I sold for a comical amount.
