Having Regen, Heartseeker and Arcane Focus on IA would make the game one step closer to fully automatic, so it's intentionally not available.

Suppose that we made just two, frequently requested changes to the game. One, Regen and Heartseeker can go in autocast slots. Two, Monsterbation is allowed to auto-attack strongest monster remaining.

You could set up a tanky melee build that didn't need to heal or use consumables, start an arena, and then just let it finish by itself. Those two changes are the only barrier left to full auto-play, apart from the RiddleMaster.

Since speed isn't so much of a consideration, you could build it easily enough using shielding plate.

I get it for regen since it stop you from dying if the monsters are weak, but how does IA Heartseeker make the game automatic? Doesn't it just allow you to kill monsters slightly faster?
If anything, I feel it would be less useful for auto-play(if it was possible) than active play since time is more valuable when active than if you could AFK and let it run overnight.

The main point is really that, if you've ever had the strongest monster show up by chance in the same slot for 2-3 rounds, while trying out non-imperil mage, you can see exactly what they are trying to avoid here. You don't even have to touch the keyboard or mouse, and it runs through several rounds all by itself. Even with riddlemasters, it's not really a game any more at that point. Having to renew buffs at least means you have to do *something*.

You would still want Heartseeker's +25% physical damage and +10% crit since you do have to be present to solve riddles and start the next arena. It's not a theoretical possibility, it's something that we are actually rather close to, and a half-step closer is not desired.

People have posted, and then deleted, auto-target strongest monster code. It is very little additional code.

Thanks for the hard work in the past years, on FreeShop, low level auctions & shop, price checks, monster db, equip db and promotion of the shortsword with imperil. Got my second peerless

Won the PFWD on lotto. IW'ing it on Pfudor so 4 potencies at a time, and so far not a single run has had any combination of p/s

congrats on the win! 4 pot strategy is quite risky, that can get expensive fast. I always do Hell for soulfused gear, that gives you 2 pots

After burning about 700 shards and lots of time, finally finish IW my Staff. Tooooooooooooooooooo tired to do it, quite underestimate the difficulty to IW a equip, was thought with soulbund I could finish it during the easter

Reach lv.400 at 10th April, no Red equips in Bazzar anymore. Current have:
- 50 monsters, all low level almost
- 23 Figurines (7 duplicate)
- about 150 Legendary, 1 Peerless droped in lv.394 (not worth much but will treasure it)

Got my Gold Star just now. Feel like start from 0 again, but now need a deep breath
