Oh, that's the Reason. Don't worry, Snowflake is so wealthy that she has a lot of Peerless HGC and HGW in return, sad, but we can't change it.

Unlocked my 100th (200th) Monster Lab Slot today.

I was at least hoping for a message, like 'Congratulations!', or 'You've played this game too much, go outside and play for a day.'

You use them to upgrade Monsters before you reach full Monsters? I'm Shocking that you achieve it today, because I've read your DWD Logs since Years.

Yes. I have several hundred on my monsters currently. I upgraded all my current ones to Scavenging 2 already. Scavenging 3 was technically break-even with about 97 Monsters if I remember my calculations correctly, but I decided not to bother with that and instead rush to 100. That, and my play is very on-and-off, so I can do months of hard play, then go months with bare minimum a couple Arenas a day tops.

And in one of the last I played, I won some chaos tokens.

Finally got the last PAB, I shouldn't be as casual in persistent.

Whopping 82 tokens away from the next slot (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

Finally reached my goal :

You can see it in my sign. I had in mind to get either Dark Descent or Eminent Elementalist, but ... now that I can, they don't seem so important and/or useful atm .

Skip Dark Descent. Item world services are more efficient. Get Eminent Elementalist, use Monsterbation, go full-time mage, and don't look back.

If you have Dark Descent you can soulfuse an item, then instantly reforge it hundreds of times at Potency levels 0 and 1 by simply using upgrade materials, and fly through the remaining Potencies at PFUDOR difficulty with double the speed.

This effectively reduces your costs at doing Item World on such an item by 50%~70%. The main problem is if you are very picky with your potencies and fail to get what you want before the item is max forged, which is quite possible if you are going for something like Jug5 + Cap5 (or any particular 5 of an exact element you demand) or But5 + Fat4 + particular weapon element.

Even then, Dark Descent will still be saving you 30% ~ 50% of costs though, theoretically. It's just that you'll have to repeatedly do your first runs at lower difficulty and waste your time somewhat.

If you have melee sets go for Suffusive Spirit, if not direct everything to Dæmon Duality II-V at least, for what they cost they are the best.

Worth to keep it in mind, thanks; but my main reason to get DD for now is simply that I have this Peerless Shortsword that I am going to soulfuse when I reach L.400, but I cannot use external services for it (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

I am doing the exact opposite of you. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) First I purchased the most expensive perks (Tokenizer 3 and DD6), and only after I get DD9 (or Manehattan Project) will I start to buy the cheapest ones (like all the Innate Arcana perks that I only got after DD5). I managed to unlock all the slots with Tokenizer 2, but it took 17 months. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

During this period, instead of purchasing Tokenizer 3, I preferred to buy the 4 experience perks and Long Gone Before Daylight (to be able to play more).
