What's ur damage mitigation (Pmit/Mmit)?
this was my stats when i was playing melee @ level 335, if not wrong my block % was around ~53.

I know for a fact that my mitigations are probably alot lower than most people (i have to heal more than most) due to me using 2 PABs equipment (i'm missing quite alot of END PAB) and i went full power slaughter instead of mixing a few power protections in.

Every PFU RE, on average i finish it with maybe 1-2 cures, without any need for depre, but definitely nowhere near death. I agree with all the previous comments that PFU REs are really easy.

That's why i'm curious about ur current pmit/mmit/block/parry.
Or it could be the order of casting self buffs.
(btw, before lv300 my playstyle was probably same as ur's, spamming weaken & silences on REs, past 300s i don't seem to need to do that anymore)

0.5 % evade chance
50.2 % block chance
39.8 % parry chance
14.8 % resist chance

HVStats defense information:
Overall chance of getting hit: 35.24%
Evade chance: 1.48%
Block chance: 43.33%
Parry chance: 19.71%

Monster crit chance: 7.41% Average MP returns of Absorb: 18.00 MP/cast
Percent of monster hits that are crits: 21.04%
Average damage taken per hit: 222.03
Average damage taken per crit: 263.45
Average damage taken: 230.74
Average total damage taken per round: 1463.93

Those HV Stats are heavily skewed by Arena runs (5x lower difficulty than RE at the same diff level) and the RESET STATS doesn't seem to work. RE mobs hit a lot harder...

btw do u IW ur armor? Maybe its bcos instead of jug, all my armors end up with elemental mitigations.

Parry seems a bit low to me (it should be >40 at that level).
Maybe a bit of forge on the rapier can help.
IWing everything is also very useful (on armors it's quite cheap to get jug as first potency, and it helps a lot).

I got Jug on the first try on the helmet... ended with Jug2 (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif)

Still, as there are 8 (7 if elemental prefix) potencies it's not that time consuming to get it, it's just a matter of luck and amnesia shards (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Problem with IW is that at low level PFUDOR is impossible and even IWBTH is challenging, so it takes a lot of time, stamina and, potentially, shards.
Probably for mages is even harder (I can now do PFUDOR with a couple of sparks, for mages it would probably be a lot worse in later rounds, but maybe they settle with IWBTH for faster clear).

Anyway, I'm too trying to IW, in particular this shortsword, I'm curious about the difference between rapier and shortsword, and since I have fire strike on the rapier it could lead to interesting comparison.
I just hope I don't get another swift fucking strike in it (I'm ok with Overpower, if I get Fatality as third it would be ideal).

You are right, sadly, my best is 83 rounds Nintendo but am DW user, 1h sure is stronger there.. good luck in that sword D:
