I got bored, so I decided to make the best axe in all of HV even better by upgrading it.

QUOTE(Juggernaut Santa @ Feb 10 2021, 16:43) How did you deplete the durability without equipping it? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) Check the eid. It's old enough that he could have done it before equipment had levels.

I this level (437) recorded my runs in the 2nd page arenas and did math on how much XP I gained divided by how many rounds it took, or XP/round... while XP will vary based on difficulty and trainings and perks, the ratio should be the same for everyone who has access to these arenas, with some variability... I only recorded this once but I assume no XP result was terribly more or less than the average I'd get running it over and over:
150r: 2043631685 xp / 150 rounds = 13,624,211 xp/round 125r: 961826683 / 125 = 7,694,613 xp/r 110r: 1036286746 / 110 = 9,420,789 100r: 1093576741 / 100 = 10,935,767 90r: 954540720 / 90 = 10,606,008 80r: 937708132 / 80 = 11,721,352 75r: 623716240 / 75 = 8,316,217 70r: 581569442 / 70 = 8,308,135 65r: 543966468 / 65 = 8,368,715 60r: 466825692 / 60 = 7,780,428 55r: 338711073 / 55 = 6,158,383
So on an XP per round basis, important for those of us leveling to 500 still who want to maximize XP gain without going below 80 stamina, we should really skip the 125 round schoolgirl arena. Its only more worthwhile on a per-round (and therefore per-stamina) basis than the 55 round arena. If your time is limited, skip the 110 round arena too, and do them in order of 150r, 80r, 100r, and finally 90r.

Matches the order what you get when you calculate (normal_monster_count * exp_bonus / rounds) with the exception 70 & 75 but they're so close that's easily explained by variance. CODE 150 11.16 80 10.67 100 9.88 90 9.54 110 8.28 65 7.70 70 7.52 75 7.47 60 7.12 125 6.26 55 5.56 30 5.07 35 5.06 40 5.05 45 5.04 25 5.04 50 4.66 20 3.85 15 3.47 12 2.25 7 1.29 5 1.00 Non-arena modes should be around the same exp as the 60-75 round arenas. A full Grindfest has an average of 8.36 monster per round (effectively 7.97 with entry stamina cost) but other modes will be lower doe to the low density early rounds being a bigger fraction of total rounds.

I did not accomplish sending my stuff to Super before the auction was posted by like 8 minutes (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I guess I procrastinated a bit.

I realized I have 2 golden tickets. I knew I had one around for a while, but I'm surprised it's now 2. I tried to repeatedly hit the "previous" button on both lotteries, but it seems it's older than how far I went (didn't count exactly), or maybe I got it through another source?

I just read the wiki... QUOTE If the player is wielding a staff, casting a spell or using skill Concussive Strike on an enemy has a chance to proc:
Coalesced Mana: Mystical energies have converged on this target. Striking it with any magic spell will consume only half the normal mana cost (stacks with Spirit Stance). I had no idea. I thought the debuff was only to show how you could ether tap. So mages should preferentially attack the ones with Coalesced Mana on it for half-priced attacks. Neat.

as a mage, I attack every monster at the same time with my t3 spell, so no option to select only the ones with coamana. But it helps to keep the mana costs down, for sure

It doesn't matter which one you hover / click on if you have a multi-target spell?

Just did a quick test - you only get the mana cost reduction if the primary target of the spell (ie, the one you're hovering/clicking on) is affected by the debuff. It's not really practical to actually use this much in reality because monsters die too fast (especially for imperil), but non-imperil mages can try to get a small saving from it. Although it might just end up leaving them with clumps of monsters alive in inconvenient places, which can slow you down.

Worrying about it will kill your t/s, but few monsters should have it after imperiling. So if I notice one is near my mouse I target it (or if a school girl has it), otherwise I just ignore it.

Just got two equipment from store in Isekai that helped quite a lot, expecially a great Magnificent Jade Power Helmet of Protection that someone trashed... i've done the same with a good shield. This post has been edited by Maharid: Feb 13 2021, 18:02
