You tank the whole wave, counters chip down monsters while you kill one, you go to the next, usually the last couple die before I get to them.

Nah, you're right, there's no FRD on isekai for exactly that reason.

I did a DWD PFUDOR run and got...no Tokens. At all. Not even for a Clear bonus. I remember seeing this happen on a 100-round arena before, too, but I don't meticulously log my 100-round runs, just my DWD runs. I thought 100-round and up were guaranteed at least a Clear Token bonus, but did this change in a recent update?

the first drop i got in iseka was an Average Estoc of Slaughter. this is fate

I was testing a few things on persistent, went to do something, came back and without noticing I went and changed the difficulty to PFUDOR and entered my latest unlocked arena just now...on isekai (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif) (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/faint.gif)

(I find it funny but tragic that the opposite of the last post happened to me just now) (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)


In the end everything was fine so I suppose worrying was for nothing.

Spent all but my last 2M credits on fire mage upgrades (persistent) and then discovered:

A) I need around 122 extra ability point trainings to max out the relevant abilities.
B) Did the math and I won't get to .8 proficiency factor before level 500 without Assimilator 15/25 or a 1000 Hath perk. The perk is cheaper but the Assimilator works on all proficiencies, not just elemental.
C) At least .68 proficiency factor is achievable.

So anyways, Itemworlding my gear while I wait on weeks worth of trainings to finish.

Unlocking the 1h Block ability at level 250 made a huge differnce, I passed from doing uncomfortably (a couple of sparks, too much restoratives used) the Lv 140 Arena on Nintendo to doing every arena up to the Lv 150 on IWBTH with half the struggle (no sparks, very few cures, few restoratives) of the aforementioned clear (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
Why only up to the Lv 150 one? I already had cleared the following ones on Hell difficulty to level up to 250 (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
That said, before after the last rounds of End of Days I was considering lowering to Nightmare for Eternal Darkness, but not anymore, in fact I probably can clear it on Nintendo+ (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)


Currently level 255...and I think the top level should be around 290 rn, from what I see in bazaar...

If someone has enough Knowledge about HV, he can esaily get lv 200 in the first Day, with some Gears from other Players then maybe in 3-4 hours.

Another good thing about the isekai update is that not only do we all get to experience being low level again (and for some older players it may partially be the "first" time if they were low level many many updates ago) but it will also help in giving advice to new players and unify our views somewhat.

I've always said that 1H revs up and doesn't truly shine until level 250, not just from the block ability but also because the 1H procs of overwhelming strikes and counter attacks are still increasing to that point (if I remember correctly).

I think isekai players will be weaker than regular players though (at same level). Not sure. Equipment should be worse I would guess, because we can't rely on the drops and resources of higher level players (?)

Unfortunately I don't feel I can make time right now to try isekai. Maybe next season for me, I dunno. If I start hardcore say next week would I still be able to make the leaderboard or whatever?
