QUOTE(Hinoka @ Jul 31 2020, 22:00) Congratulations! Did you get a lot of new monsters or tokens? I think that's one of the biggest perks a star brings. Doubles your monter count.
Thanks Hinoka!!! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Now I have 200 monsters (I had already unlocked all the slots since January 2019). (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool2.gif) The hard part was having to spend 3 hours in the Monster Lab creating 100 monsters. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/faint.gif) And they still have the provisional names, which I will gradually replace during the week. QUOTE(DJNoni @ Aug 1 2020, 03:17) congrats! Gold star at last! Now you're playing with power.
Thanks Noni!!! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Yeah, with the power of experience multiplication. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) I did a test today and saw that the experience I gained, just in the last arena (DWD) and above 80 stamina, is practically the same as what I gained before with the sum of all arenas and stamina below 80. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) QUOTE(BlueWaterSplash @ Aug 1 2020, 05:49) +50% MP/SP regeneration is a gold star power I covet, but I will probably never experience it unless I can reach level 500 someday.
This extra regeneration doesn't seem to have done much at the moment. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) At least in my style of play. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) You are already a Silver Star, so the way to a Gold Star is easier for you. It will not take that long. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) QUOTE(Uncle Stu @ Aug 1 2020, 10:41)  I failed as an uncle and as a human being. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif) Calm down Uncle. Don't feel that bad. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/blush.gif) QUOTE(mundomuñeca @ Aug 1 2020, 13:48)  Congratulations for the GS, it was due since some time :;
Thanks mundo!!! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) QUOTE(Venvalion @ Aug 1 2020, 16:35) So you finally reached a distant, brilliant star... Congrats!
Thanks Venvalion!!! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) QUOTE(Juggernaut Santa @ Aug 1 2020, 17:03) Grats
Thanks Juggernaut Santa!!! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) QUOTE(Juggernaut Santa @ Aug 1 2020, 17:03) That's not it.
You see, you were rich with a lot of credits, yet you were """poor""" Now you spent them and that makes you poor, yet now you are """rich"""

I don't think +50% MP/SP regeneration will do anything important when you are level 500, so I'll never see any benefit from it. It would probably be more helpful for a player level 300~400.
Already nearing level 400, I just recently reached a point where my SP never runs out anymore (zero draughts) in regular arenas or item world no matter how long. This happened as soon as I bought Suffusive Spirit hath perk, as I was already getting close.
The higher level you get, the more spirit you will naturally have. It's a greater effect than magic reserves, because your spells increase in MP cost as your level increases, while your SP drain from spirit stance is unchanged.
If I use Spirit Shield then my SP could still run down, but getting near level 500 I'm guessing I'll have unlimited supply, at least in arenas.
I don't plan to upgrade to Gold Star until level 500, like you. Since I don't play enough, I may never reach level 500, thus never buy Gold Star.

I play DWD fighting style, I don't spend more than a single SP draft in the last 3 arenas, and that is why I like to keep the spirit energy bar full for any improvisation that may happen, but if I wanted I would not spend Not even a single one.
The combination of weapons that I bring now actually allows me not to spend any Life recovery at all, and this also happens in the IW playing with the FUS RO DAH ability, but because I want to finish those challenges faster I prefer to spend them attacking excessively, even if they hurt me in the process if that means finishing that challenge more quickly.

I was already forgetting to post this. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Continuing the observations (Gift Factor 260% vs 105%): Monster __1: Mechanoid / PL 1455 / Gift Factor 260% / Battles Won: 4 / Killing Blows: 0 / Total Gifts: 40 / Gift Times: 11 [(8x) 3 gifts + (1x) 4 gifts + (2x) 6 gifts] Monster __2: Dragonkin / PL 1455 / Gift Factor 260% / Battles Won: 12 / Killing Blows: 3 / Total Gifts: 53 / Gift Times: 13 [(7x) 3 gifts + (2x) 4 gifts + (4x) 6 gifts] Monster __3: Celestial / PL 1455 / Gift Factor 260% / Battles Won: 5 / Killing Blows: 1 / Total Gifts: 44 / Gift Times: 12 [(8x) 3 gifts + (2x) 4 gifts + (2x) 6 gifts] Monster 100: Undead / PL 1455 / Gift Factor 105% / Battles Won: 7 / Killing Blows: 0 / Total Gifts: 19 / Gift Times: 12 [(6x) 1 gift + (5x) 2 gifts + (1x) 3 gifts] As expected, the results were practically the same as last month, even increasing the PL from 1359 to 1455. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Now I have increased it to 1560. Let's see if going over 1500 will make a difference. Yeah, DW doesn't use any spirit at all. I used to play a lot of DW, and return occasionally. My first DW persona (actually it knows every melee style, even staff warrior) didn't even bother to learn SP Tank and Better Spirit Pots ability upgrades. Because SP is useless for a DW player, except for Spirit Shield, which I didn't use in arenas. By the way, the usefulness of Fusrodah in item world was known to most of us, but I never actually used it myself (I was below level 300 when I did item worlds with DW) that's why I never talked about it when you brought it up before. I'd heard it was best with Niten, though I don't know why it's specifically best with that style. Couldn't Fusrodah be good in item world with any non-1H melee style? If you do use Fusrodah style, equipment could probably be optimized for it. Like you might prefer a few Agile pieces, or a high-speed wakizashi (Peerless or Swiftness, despite worsening your Bleeding Wound). And you probably wouldn't want any Overpower (since all enemies would be stunned) while otherwise you'd insist on having Overpower 5 or 10.

FRD is a defensive choice, not offensive. DW doesn't need it at all (nimble wakizashi offhand brings enough parry). 2H loves it, but struggles to get enough speed without swift strike. Niten is half-way between the two: it doesn't get the parry bonus on off-hand, and it's forced to use katana main-hand, but the off-hand speed makes it a lot easier to achieve permanent FRD uptime. Optimizing FRD doesn't actually want too much speed, it only wants just enough to reliably generate enough OC to use it again right as the stun expires.

For the moment I am very good, I am with a combination of Club - Rapier, the club has Fatality 5 - Butcher 2 - Overpower 2, and the Rapier has Fatality 5 - Butcher 4, and half of my equipment has very high agility, in fact my new goal is to improve that stat on all those equipments.
In addition I also have other Peerles equipment, which due to lack of time I have not improved and I have not equipped.

Your MP go up instead of down every turn with 1H Heavy. At least with both perk and star, that is.

Mine does too, since a very long time ago (I have the perk). Well with all IA on, my MP goes up very slowly on its own: effectively could be considered neutral. Yours would probably still go up noticeably, as you are higher level plus have gold star.
But considering Regen + Heartseeker which need to be manually casted, my MP definitely drains. However with mana gems and ponies, it's usually self sustaining for me as well.
Then throw in Imperil play, which I do more of lately (I do just one Imperil per round, for most rounds). I learned the supportive prof perk to improve my MP reserves further when I upgraded my Imperil to 3 targets. This definitely drains my MP, though with mana gems I can last for most arenas using just a couple of draughts.
My spirit is self sustaining with spirit gems, with Spirit Shield off, since I bought the spirit perk. Probably at higher level if would be self sustaining even with Spirit Shield on.

(IMG:[ i.imgur.com] http://i.imgur.com/5XIGsPR.png)(IMG:[ i.imgur.com] http://i.imgur.com/orEi06F.png) Gave up trying to get Jug5 Cap5 on my panties but achieved something better: I got Jug5 Cap5 on my endgame swimming cap! I guess this game doesn't mind giving me J5 C5 on my head only, although I brute forced this one using 44 amnesia shards (compared to 5 amnesia for my warding helmet). If including the 57 shards I wasted on panties so far, then I used 101 shards to achieve J5 C5, which is actually ultra lucky I think, especially on savages. Depending what other equipment I acquire, I probably won't aim for J5 C5 on anything again except the wet panties, which at this point I may not bother with. I'm searching for some good, color spandex panties to wear instead of sexy wet ones.

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) Well, I'm doing a quick Grinfest to get rid of boredom, but I'm not complaining because they have been appearing continuously in 3 battles that I did in a row pure HGC, I already got 3 of them, that's pretty good and I'm not even going into 50 battle. Very well I may already complete my 100 HGC package for auction this week. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)*Another one, the best of all this is that they are phase, and they will give me energy cell when I Salvage them (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)*Another one, and it's also Phase.
