Can you play Dark Non-Imperil with that stick?

Playing non-Imp is more about having Radiants and levels of DD. The staff itself does matter of course, but it won't be able to do shit alone.
As for myself, no I can't play Non-Imp. And I don't want to anyway.

Upgrading my legendary equipments to Forge 5.

I understand, with the prices of the Radiants and DD9, only the rich boyz can play non-Imp. I also read that to play PFFEST you need Charged more than Radiant. But Charged equips are not cheaper anyway.

In fairness: he has DD9, and radiant fenrirs aren't ridiculously expensive these days - forging them is still kinda prohibitive, though, and non-imperil performs worse in pfests than imperil for every element besides holy, while costing more consumables to do it. Well, managed to finish DwD on IWBTH for the 1st time, without being prepared.
Forgot to lower the difficulty when switching arenas (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) 'twas rough near the end.

(IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) WOW! You also collect, I am 4 weapons away from completing my one-handed Ethereal Weapons Collection with the suffixes Battle-caster, Vampire, Illithid and Banshee (A type of all one-handed weapons with each of those suffixes)

(IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) 2 days ago I was doing IW to waste Stamina and keep me below 80 points of it, and in one of those battles that I abandoned I had to fight with a Daleck in the first battle, obviously I easily defeated him trophy almost for free .

Something that can happen to everyone and anyone, including the tankiest of the 1H players, thanks to that "feature". (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Tried pffest using 4+1 dark mage, because I'm bored.
charged cloth pants, radiant robe, mystic glove. 2 generic peerless (cap shoes)
4979 MDB 395% EDB 22.7% CS 0.752 prof factor. 33,077 Magic Score 44,925 Arcane Score with infusion
8,859 turns 1:01:35 (2.398 t/s) DD 1


Clear time and turn count is slightly slower than the average of my usual 3+2 for grindfest which is ~8400-8500 turns, but it's still in the range of it's bad run due to bad rng.
The gameplay itself is a little less smooth. probably from losing the charged cast time bonus.

your imperil count is rather low for a full fest, I'm guessing you don't recast on resists? or you only start imperil after a certain round? de ja vu - did I say this before about a previous screenshot?
