and with today's wins, main monster has now 657 total wins, exactly 200 more than when I raised it from its old power level.
Roughly 5 wins/day. And only 3 gifts/day. Doesn't compute.

Iirc, it says somewhere in the wiki that a win only gives a chance of an additional gift, not a guaranteed one.
And it doesn't tell any average percentage or other statistics.

Anyway, it's done by a computer which by definition computes. You're not a computer (presumably), so maybe it's you who don't compute (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I just got the worst two-handed weapon and also the worst equipment in all the time I have been playing in the HV, it was so bad that I sold it immediately in the bazaar (which I have never done, I have another poor weapon stored, and I have not thrown it in the bazaar yet), but what do you think, someone already bought it, in less than 35 minutes, the only proof that this weapon existed is this image:

I've been saying for a while that gifts are only a chance on win. Most likely internally it's a chance that increases linearly based on the time since the last win, rather than a cooldown.

By mistake (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) (switched from IWBH to PFUDOR for a RE and forgot about it, IWBH is my default for arenas now), a lot of healing, 2-3 weaken on 7-9 monsters arenas before imperils, heavy overdose on elixirs and luck. Sparked probably a half of last 20-30 rounds.

DwD as mage? That is really not a problem, the SG arenas are easier than most arenas.

Yes. But he is lv.340, and I doubt he already has end-game equip for mage.

I doubt even more that he has high forging on everything.

I know I woulnd't like even to try.

Anyway ... my accomplishment for today : equipped a new shield for 1H, and with a bit of forging it's finally going above 50% block (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

No need for endgame stuff to clear PFUDOR DwD as mage.
A basic Forge 5 elemental set of 2 cotton + 3 phase does the job. As for the staff, a basic staff like LARN/LARD/LFRS/LFRD with Pen5 and whatever else does the job.

Actual (very) serious stuff is needed only for IW and IWBFEST/PFFEST.

Speaking of which, I just did a grindfest today, my first one in ~3 years.

Forgot to set it on IWBTH though, so I ended up powering through the entire 1000 waves on PFUDOR. I used a ludicrous amount of consumables though. Guess I won't be doing it again any time soon, at least not on PFUDOR (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

Yes, that. PFUDOR T&T probably would be much worse if possible at all.

Forging? From 5 to 17 on cottons (2), no on phases (3), from 5 to 17(MDB) to 36(EDB and Prof) on staff. And no way it's endgame equip (only 2 middling leg), it probably outlive usefulness in 20-50 levels...
