I am not sure that that is wise. I suspect setting to 1 is the same as upgrading, but I am not 100% certain. Updating is your safest bet.

Connections to 1 should be safe (but official advice is still going to be upgrade to remove even having the option).

By the way, the RE component works as you're describing for me (starting the timer as soon as it retrieves the RE link). Maybe your HVUtils URL component is also out of date? The current version is 1.1.0 (and I have been using 1.0.8 where it was working fine).

For multi-threading problems, 2.8.0 works the same as the max_conn set to 1 in earlier versions.

I recommend that you always keep the latest version but it is not essential if you don't need other new features.
(Maybe 2.8.0 will be the last version.)

And, for RE issues, please update HVUT_URL script as lestion said.
It may behave strangely right after the update, but it will work normally after that.

It also does reduce the upkeep of your autocast spells. With my 1H build i did go down from 0.99 MP/s to 0.93 MP/s. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

I have thought about unlocking this for a while, finally got around to doing it

Played a bunch of arenas while watching an anime, those weren't as generous as I would have wished regarding tokens (maybe it was a bug in monsterbation log, but I never saw more than 1 token in the complete arena drop log)

Finally got all my existing monsters up to Scavenger 2. After this there's not much point to getting them any higher until after I unlock all my lab slots.

500+ prof in every maging.

Got 7 Chaos Tokens and a Token of Blood in my DWD run.

I guess every so often, Tokenizer III actually works well.

Benefited from salvation again just now: start a RE, completely forget about it while it's minimized because you started something else, come back to the site still noticing it's there in the task bar, try starting another RE and don't see the popup, open the pre-existing RE, finish it, click on the end battle button, see the other RE start right there 🎉🥳

Got all my artifacts stat boosts.
Took 578 artifacts to get them from 47 to 50 (all done at lv 500)

9000 ADB w/ 1h rapier and full trashman power set. Since everything soulfused, should hit 10k @lvl 444 if i don't change anything. Have some mats to forge rapier some more (that i'm not intending to replace, like, ever), but im limited by forge level. Also, only 2 savage pieces of armor tho, 1 more coming up.
