Reached level 451, got 1 mastery point, I wonder if I will actually use more in the end (since I did some training in the past to give myself an error margin, that I haven't fully used...I think)

It looks like you're using a redwood staff. You might find it faster (and safer!) with willow.

That's a painful amount of spirit elixirs too... try using scrolls of life in the later rounds!

I am using a willow staff it is just not that great. In fact, I have a redwood staff with a nice MDB that I was considering switching to.

Some people are playing at sub-1 t/s (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Those poor bastards...

1.8 isn't actually that bad. Even many people with excellent connections often only play at just above 2/s, largely because of thinking time...

I used to have like 0.5 t/s but multiple internet improvements in my area brought me up to 2.5 t/s and at this point my PC and browser are bottlenecking me. I recently installed Chrome and it brought me up to 2.7 t/s and even then, I can tell my speed should be 3+ t/s but it is my PC that is too slow. Because on Chrome my turns/second is extremely variable and my computer regularly chugs up and can't handle it (it's 3+ t/s between chugs).

So I still use Firefox to play this game, it's a bit slower but the turns/second is only moderately variable, which is what I'm used to.

By the way since you aren't always around (same with me) you might not have noticed, but at some point in time a bronze star became the most valuable upgrade one can get. Something changed.
