Decided to fix the bad IW on my staff for the new year. Got P5S4 on my first attempt. Truly a new years miracle.

Not everything below is an actual "accomplishment", but 2020 started off quite positively for me with a bunch of rewards arriving together, so I thought I'd make a list here:

3) The prize I was going for in the very first lottery of the year (well, technically last of 2019):

Almost a decade after uploading my first torrent here, the counter finally hit 100k. It's a shame that most of my old torrents got deleted during my long period of inactivity a few years back... I could easily handle them now that my connection's upstream has increased from 1 Mbps to 10. Oh well... :/

Also, nothing from the Yuletide Lottery again this year, I have yet to see what a Tenbora's box looks like, feels like, smells like, tastes like... But we can't have everything, right? I'm not complaining.

...Wait, holy crap, I did! (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) I seriously had no idea you get one with those Toplist Awards and I hadn't even checked my trophies since we got the Iron Heart / Stuffers gifts. Thanks for pointing it out, if you hadn't I'd have probably noticed it weeks from now and I'd be unable to figure out where it came frow. And so now comes the long thinking process of what to do with it... Do I open it, do I sell it, or do I keep it as a collectible because I'll probably never see a second one?... 3 days of self IW and 1.2m credits + 96 shards of IW from shop and I couldn't get a simple J5 on my pants.

FYI level 500 does not get any dawn prof. Null, zero, nada, nothing.

it's a well-known thing, btw. afaik those prof bonuses depend on the exp gained on dawn. so 0 exp, no prof.

Indeed and that's a very good instant reward. It doesn't look like it's worth risking it for something better, some Peerless weapon that might be worth four or perhaps five times that. What are the odds? Do we have enough data from people offering Tenbora's boxes? I imagine myself eventually shrining it for a Peerless Shocking Short Sword of the Banshee or something similar, worth 100-200k and that will feel like having punched myself in the nose. As far as I know, all trophies have the same chance of peerless, and I've never heard Tenbora's Box to be an exception to that... but I'm certainly not an expert on that subject.

confirmed, at least as far as we know. raising trophy tier merely excludes certain (lower) types of rarities from the pool. in case of a tenbora box, it "merely" means you're granted a legendary. also, has quite the high value at the shrine for FoS users.

I was still lv 499 so I just got the usual dawn, including the 20 billions exp.
In fact I leveled up with it.

Usually the proficiency comes along with it and is "credited" after you do any one battle.
Not in this case apparently.

Or maybe you only get the fraction corresponding to how much effective exp you got from the dawn.
I was 11k exp points from leveling up, so maybe the remaining 20 billions minus 11k got "wasted" and I got an amount of proficiency so small that it was below 0.001 for everything.
