Started to experiment IWing with Monsterbation.1 success, but others were more on the failure side.
But maybe it would make lower difficulty play more bearable (unless crazy difficulty increase through the rounds still easily defeat any script, setting, equipment or anything)

Reached 400.000 deprecating proficiency at level 379.

Finally got around to using some of my built-up ability points and trained Silence from nothing to max. As advertised, even though the number of targets increases from 1 to 3, I confirmed my mana cost did not increase. It's well worth it. Silence is a great spell with no training, too.

I also trained Mind Control to level 1. I don't want to go beyond for now because it will increase the mana cost. I likewise still have Faster Weaken and Faster Imperil at only level 1 training, with 1 target.

Here are my DW persona abilities. It was raised as a jack-of-all-trades character until I switched to 1H. All weapon styles are trained to max, even Staff, but there aren't enough Mastery points to equip all simultaneously.

I used to gobble my dropped artifacts up immediately but lately, as I get closer to my level cap, I am thinking it is best to just hoard artifacts or sell them. The reason is that if you always try to keep at your level cap from level 400~500 you'll basically end up using hundreds of times more crystals in the end. Thus you arguably waste hundreds or thousands of artifacts.

If you instead leave your artifact stats at around 70~80% of maximum which is pretty much where I'm at now, all the way until you reach level 500, then it will be take way fewer artifacts to just make a single push for +50/+50/+50/+50/+50/+50 at the very end.

By the way, my screenshot on the last page shows that my artifact stats display in a messed up way on my setup. I use the default fonts but a small monitor with a lower than normal screen resolution: things generally scale to look the same but occasionally it acts as I have less room and things clip, as with here and some other things.

My artifact stats displayed normally until I got past +19 in each; they are basically too wide now and clip down.

font-style: "blank"
vertical adjust: -2

Everything appears in the right place.

well, bought some crystal packs and now all my monsters are at least level 400
