Tbh it is better to wait for lv 500 before shrining for PABs.

The more the attribute point you're trying to get is close to the last, the hardest it is.

Meaning getting the 49th point when the 50th is available (at lv 500) is easier than to get the 49th point when it is the last available (lv 490)

I use health/mana potions on every CD in the latter rounds.

Yes. For two reasons:
1) We drop more of them than we spend even when doing so.

I only have 30k currently, it's hard for me to use so many in one gf (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blush.gif)

2) No action time, so less opportunity for monsters to attack you

I do that whatever the playstyle, and it's very handy.
