Well, I’ve continued the grind all the way to level 326, so there’s that.

I made observations for 30 days to see if there is a lot of difference between a monster with Gift Factor 173% (331 Chaos Tokens) and another with only 105% (3 Chaos Tokens).

Monster __1: Mechanoid / PL 1242 / Gift Factor 173% / Battles Won: 6 / Killing Blows: 1 / Total Gifts: 28 / Gift Times: 11 [(7x) 2 gifts + (2x) 3 gifts + (2x) 4 gifts]
Monster __2: Dragonkin / PL 1242 / Gift Factor 173% / Battles Won: 5 / Killing Blows: 0 / Total Gifts: 28 / Gift Times: 11 [(8x) 2 gifts + (3x) 4 gifts]
Monster __3: Celestial / PL 1242 / Gift Factor 173% / Battles Won: 10 / Killing Blows: 0 / Total Gifts: 36 / Gift Times: 12 [(6x) 2 gifts + (2x) 3 gifts + (3x) 4 gifts + (1x) 6 gifts]
Monster 100: Undead / PL 1242 / Gift Factor 105% / Battles Won: 11 / Killing Blows: 0 / Total Gifts: 24 / Gift Times: 13 [(3x) 1 gift + (9x) 2 gifts + (1x) 3 gifts]

From the observed results, I can conclude that, even with a difference of 68% among Gift Factors (and a difference of 328 Chaos Tokens (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) ), the amount of gifts obtained were not too far apart (as well as the number of times I received gifts). (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) The exception was that Monster 3 had brought 6 gifts at once. If it were not for that, the numbers would be even closer. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

Now I'm going to increase the Gift Factor of monsters 1, 2 and 3, and see if in 30 days the results will be different. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

An interesting fact is in the monster 100. A month ago I raised the PL from 114 to 1242. With this he started to participate in more battles and consequently obtained more victories (11 in a month). Before that he only had 4 wins in 5 months of existence. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

From what I have observed with my own monsters, the low number of wins of your monster #100 has probably more to do with the TYPE of monster (i.e., undead) then with PL/ Tokens upgrade.

I have distributed my monsters between all types, but kept all of them @103% gift and between 200 and 300 PL; I can tell after a year that some types have a higher probability of winning then other types "ceteris paribus" (though at different PL, WHICH types are ones and which the others could well be different (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) ).

I think the kind of monster does not have that much influence. I also have a bit of each type, and the winning numbers are quite varied. For me everything is a matter of luck or bad luck.

As there are many low-PL monsters, the chances of each participating in a battle are low. Therefore, the chances of victory are also low. Most of the higher level players (above 350 or 400) practically only face monsters with a PL greater than 1300. And as the amount of these monsters is smaller, we face the same monsters all the time. So the chances that these monsters have to win a victory are much higher.

Thanks. Well with just so few tickets chance of winning is so low, i actually did even stop to spend a single ticket every day, okay you could now argue that i wasted all of those anyway with the Force Shield, but hey, at least i did give it try right?

Thanks. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) Yeah, you must have mistaken, i would assume with a full savage set, something i did archive last year and did loose it again this year. I got my Peerless Jade Power Armor of Protection just this year, and now i got the gauntlets and after this, i still lack the Leggins for a full Peerl Armor set.

Btw speaking of my new armor, 4 reforges so far. And still 214 Tokens to the last slot. Well at least i got something, so now snowflake can kick me in the dick for the next few weeks if not months, because now i am going for Jugg5Elec5. The old plan was Jugg5Fire5, but that doesnt make much sense when i allready have a Ruby shield and now a Ruby armor, so atm the element with the widest opening in my defense is elec. Got killed twice by it in the last few months. So there is something i have to fix. *sigh* I just wished i would get more HGM from my monster allready, But even 52 above 750, 133 above 700, and the rest except of 8 at least at 633. But yeah, even when it did cost crystals worth quite a few M, i mean i was too lazy to keep track of it, but i would assume this year alone i did spend credits for something between 30 and 40M. Aka, enough to by materials to fully forge multiple armor sets. So it really dont feel like worth it, i guess now it is just me been stuborn. I just wonder, what should i do next when i finaly have finish my peerl armor set? Going for a slaughter/balance set? Get a full elemental set, just in case even a complete fully forged peerl armor set isnt enough without the additional protection elemental armor pieces gives you? Going for a full Peerl Savage set? Getting a second shadowdancer set to test it out how much faster i could have been at DwD with it? Going mage and compete with the big ones? I really have to think about this.
