Adding a new difficulty level like I've proposed in the past would probably increase the rate of monster wins as a side effect. The main effect would be to make the melee styles more competitive with mage at high level, and give players an incentive to build equip sets for both.

The problem right now is that monsters aren't really serious threats to begin with, so even with max chaos upgrades the benefit to wins is marginal.

Even at lv 300 it still won't reach 100K, maybe 50K, I did it long time ago so I can't remember it clear.

Oh yeah no the final cost is only 50k, it's a total investment of ~5mil. Very worth it

I'd even go so far as to say that elemental prefixes are preferable for that kind of equipment.

You know, I didn't realise heavy didn't have any resist chance on it. I didn't realise how much I'd been spoilt by evade + resist - magic attacks make up maybe an eighth of the damage I take at most, with no real effort made to raise elemental resistances, magic mitigation or resist chance.



(It wasn't the protection part I doubted, though - I know that stuff's good haha)
