Assimilator is the secret behind my insame depr prof that is 40 levels above me.
And I'm planning on getting Assimilator to 20 once I acquired the last parts of my dark set.

My depr prof and supp prof are 40 levels above my level rn with 10 assimilators. Are they going to get slower as I level up more?

Wait, that's possible? I think even with peer prof on both staff and robe you'd end up around 0.97 prof factor. Are you using a proficiency staff or something?

Granted, I've had IA for like 10 years running every battle ever.
But deprecating I've not used much, even now I'll sometimes run arenas half non-imperil just cause i'm lazy

yes, thanks to the good prof roll, i should be able to get to around 0.97 with max prof and full phase, and i suspect that the added damage from radiant shoes adds more than going for 1.0

i chose this build because it lets me have it all: prof from staff, EDB from 4-5 phases, MDB from full radiants and good CR on offensive spells due to high prof factor. i only lose out on cast speed, but this has not kept me from clearing PFfest, and i will use this set mostly for IWs and arenas, so it's all good

Nice, nice. Yea I think I've read somewhere that prof staff + 5 radiants also work, although ppl rarely do that due to insace forge costs on radiants lol.

I think in a sense it works like a LHOH in that good amount of mdb is coming from phases, whereas LHOH compensates its low mdb with higher edb from itself, and your build from the extra one or two phase pieces.

Oh yeah, I'm not gonna soulfuse it for a while.
I'm still working on Jug5 for most of my armor (so far only 2/5 jugged up and soulfused)

My equipment truly suxoreds. Very low quality with 11% edb's etc.
I wear 1 radiant. The only thing that saves my low quality is maxed out forging

Here's my situation:

I have assimilator 15 a while ago, but my proficiency is "only" 31.877 levels above.

In addition to assimilator, there are 2 other factors that contribute to proficiency gain.

(1) As proficiency gain is linked to experience gain, and it increases exponentially (or something like that), the lower the player's level, the greater the gain in proficiency. Thus, the greater your current proficiency, the more difficult it is to continue to rise at the same pace. This is where the assimilator factor comes in.

(2) The amount of experience each one earns here is different. The greater the number of experience multipliers, the greater the gain in proficiency. That's why someone with Gold Star gains proficiency faster than someone without a star, even with a lower level of assimilator.

Having said that, if anyone here intends to reach the 600 of proficiency, it is good to start thinking seriously about having 10 stars (+ Assimilator 25).
