I know why I still clear PFFEST as 1H. Takes some time, but at least I haven't spent bazillions to be able to do it.
Heck, maybe I'll be able to do it with Power 2H one day, without spending the same bazillions than mage and while being faster than 1H.

1) I've got other shit to do than spending 588k in a single monster, for next to no benefit
2) I've got more than 1 monster
3) Packs haven't always costed 21k
4) We don't all upgrade monsters evenly
5) You forgot to take into account the happy pills that will have to make up for the morale stabilization once the monster is upgraded
6) Having a monster decently visible requires it to be PL1200-1500 or more

But considering scripts that completely translate the UI, or at least, make major changes in it.
It would be nice if a script like this existed:
You comment a number of names in a line of the script.
The script randomly picks from that list and REPLACES the monster names in battle with the ones it picked.
I would use that script.

Even if it would make me very sorry for the funny name creators getting their monsters hidden.
But that's a price I would pay to stop seeing Peerlesses, Shadowcats and In memory garbage (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif)

Something like that.
It just replaces the characters in the monster namespace with something else.

It shouldn't be that hard to do either.

I ain't a Javascript scripter, but IMHO it's fairly easy to do.
And it really deserves to be a thing, yup!

Oh, okay. But keep in mind even a mage dont need that much more. So there is imo no need to waste credits for training when you still have so many drop training to do. I am a bit envy tbh. You have still so much you can do to increase your income. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

Well, here's a simple version of Monsterbation I brushed up with randomized names (changeable in line 1654 starting with "var possible_names = ..."). You'd want to copy/paste your settings from previous. Possibly have bugs or such, didn't do extensive testing.

Changes were:
  • Adding var possible_names and function RandomizeMonsterNames() (line 1654)
  • Adding localStorage.removeItem('HVrandomnames') after every localStorage.removeItem('HVmonsterData') (line 569, 1626, 1638)
  • Calling RandomizeMonsterNames() at the end of every Enhance() and Observe() (line 546, 595)
