I think I'll either play imperil elemental or dark mage, I think I'd want to use imperil as dark mage as well since I won't be reaching 1.0 prof factor any time soon. Is this not viable due to slower casting speed of dark mage? Yea I'll probably get LGBD after I clear pffest regularly, which I think will be after getting decent mage sets cuz I probably don't want to grind 3 hrs into it as 1h. So I might just go from zero to Crys V and LGBD altogether in some distant future.

I don't play Dark Mage so I can't help you at this Point. If you ask for Advice about Imperil elemental, I'll say that we should get Eminent Elementalist first rather than Evil Enchantress.

I actually already got the depr prof perk because I won't be switching to mage immediately (there hasn't been any decent staff...) but I think I'll probably get all my related perks before making the switch so that shouldn't be an issue. Got depr prof cuz I can benefit from it right away lol

As for drop trainings, should I just leave them at 50% or maybe to 60%? Currently their total cost is roughly 3m, and if I get them up to 60% it would be 6m. It seems like the cost roughly doubles for every 10% increase (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif)

The last few Scavengers are very very small improvement on drops. Not like they are going to save your ass and bring you a PHOH. 80% is a good threhold for reference
There are players who maxed all 4 training but got no peerless yet, but there also being some players who got peerless drop that worth 100m without maxing anything. Equipment Drops are 90% luck and 10% training.

For players who frequently buy gear, maxing training is a waste of money.

Yea for now I think I'll just leave them at 50%. I just hope a decent staff shows up on the market anytime soon (well not peerl-quality since I won't be able to afford it) since I think it's better to wait until getting the staff to start build up my mage set, and it's been like two weeks and nothing T_T

(It showed up now!) - And just got my ass handed to me in my first Random Encounter in quite a while (Good thing I checked the "Ask the Experts" topic to read that bit about visiting the news page every day) because I still had my difficulty set to IWBTH).

Anyone who hasn't invested in trainings seriously has no rights to complain.

I'm not saying that maxing them out is a necessity, but that there should be a minimum of coherence between one's actions and demands. Help yourself, or so it says.

What's your levels on drop trainings?
I'd say it's really a matter of taste tho, he was being too decisive in maxing out every drop training asap so there were some people disagreeing with it.

Idk about others but for me I want more income to get stronger, and DD provides a more definitive benefit in that aspect. And honestly Idk about going from 80% to maxing out those trainings are gonna make that big of a difference.

But then again, regardless of which side you opt for DD1 is always gonna beat the last arch level hands down, and same for DD3 and arch 1 and so on. I think it's just better to balance it out so you just get the best deal possible each moment.

With all due respect, scavenger 45+DD1 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> scavenger 50. I would hardly call it an opinion, it's more of a fact.
And it's tricky to estimate roi on non-drop related perks/trainings, but then again the sole reason of getting those drop trainings are to get better gears, no? I wouldn't be too thrilled to miss out on a gear I really want because 70m are "invested" into drop trainings.

No, they're all at 36 or 37, so it's been around 40 levels I'm not shrining. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
I've already got a healthy amount of EDs to keep going for a very long while, so I just don't bother.
Same goes for all the SG trophies or God knows what.

PA is not too liquid, but still that's worth like 40m lolol. I guess you'd at least break even on pffest even w/o selling those artifacts i guess?
