Your attachment is not visible. But imperil cold mage i did 75 min and dark imperal 55 min or so. Strong gear.

Why would you congratulate at all for this? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) I mean compared with all those 2250 monster creating an army of PL 549 monster is not really an archivement.

sometimes the attachments are gone even before you post, even after successful upload.
maybe because of timeout or something, I can't be sure but it happens alot when I write then leave it for a few moment before posting.
that's why I make it a habit to check the post using preview post. even with that I still do so many edits :/

Turns rather than time is better for comparison.

Around 7000 turns if elec/wind mages, full forged, very good charged phases+DD5.
One elec mage who has PSWD and very good clothes says he needs 6600 turns or so.

I would like to focus on time because I have average 200~300 less clear turn on bonus day but the clear time has no significant difference compared to non-bonus day.
Imo what actually time-taking in GF is judgement of using cure/imperil/item, instead of hovering on imperiled monster.

I was sparked today too, but for another reason. I was going to use a gem by pressing G, but I missed the target (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) and hit F (Focus). That alone was enough for me to be severely attacked by 8 or 9 monsters in an IW. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

Shrined artifacts, but didn't get a single ED, so still not enough ED to trade for artifacts to shrine for ED to trade for artifacts to...

Attempted an IW on a legendary on Normal.
Inefficient (no level up of item), but given how crazily high the difficulty became at the end (or maybe it started right in the middle (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) ), I would probably have died in another difficulty mode.
Maybe it's a good thing that I don't win Soulbound Peerless in the lottery after all (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Well, I've finished the forging, IW, and fusing. It's go time!

DWD: 1,855 turns (0,74 prof factor, shoes only)

2 nice builds now:
2 charged cotton + 2 radiant phases + 1 Charged phase robe:


this can be further improved by changing the robe for radiant. But I don't have to, because I also have this:
1 cotton robe + 4 radiant phases, can't reach 1.0 prof factor, but can get Pretty Close!


If you compare these 2, they are already quite close to each other

some comparative logsword/estoc/power runs. the total difference in attack damage between this estoc and a peerless one is about 1%, and from the runs i've done before and after forging the estoc the difference in clear time is quite a bit less than that, so i will just dump the raw numbers:

logsword 1,602 turns 0:08:55 (2.994 t/s)
estoc 1,668 turns 0:09:09 (3.038 t/s)

DwD
logsword 5,631 turns 0:32:16 (2.909 t/s)
estoc 6,089 turns 0:34:58 (2.902 t/s)

IW100
logsword 2,385 turns 0:13:21 (2.978 t/s)
estoc 2,382 turns 0:13:47 (2.88 t/s)

observations:

• longsword runs where done casting imperil on schoolgirls only. against regular monsters, longsword/imperil gives the lowest possible turn count but slows me down in real time, so if you're a crazy hexmaster you may get even more out of crude, barbarian steel
• IWs are still a bit faster with shade for me, but if the improvements from defensive forging on my shade set are any indication, much better times are possible if i forge my power set past 5
• about those DwD times... schoolgirls are the exact opposite of what 2H is most effective at. somewhat faster times are possible when using OFC in certain situations, but i did not want to introduce this factor of randomness. because the only options to use OC here are spirit stance and OFC, this is the one context where Manehattan Project would have a significant impact

verdict: join the gorean way and pick up your longsword today! or use an estoc with shade if you want to be little people
