QUOTE(DJNoni @ Jan 3 2019, 12:37) Never heard of this. I don't believe it. I comment sometimes, never notice any GP. Is this really true? If so can't be much. GS and h@h give you GP and upload as well
Yes, it is true. But once you have your first star, there's probably no real reason to care anymore. Also check https://ehwiki.org/wiki/Dawn_of_a_New_DayThis post has been edited by Nicosai: Jan 3 2019, 14:19

QUOTE(uareader) Just realized (or rediscovered) that Drain is a Dark attack spell. Well a free 4k damage on breached defense exploding is always good to take. Wait, really? All this time I never knew that. Does this mean that if you wield a demonic weapon, or increase your Dark elemental magic damage via other ways, that your drain will do more damage? And maybe suck back more life for you? Drain is actually useful to me on rare occasion, so this wouldn't be something to ignore, especially against tough monsters like Flying Spaghetti Monster.

QUOTE(The Wiki) Vital Theft - Siphons off the target's life essence over time. This causes a damage-over-time effect and returns a small amount of health to the player. Damages the target then heals the player after each of the target's turn. - Damage over time = MDB * (1 + forbidden EDB / 100) * 0.1
- HP damage/drained = 5% of the target's current HP or 5% of your total base HP, whichever is lower
Ether Theft - Siphons off the target's mana over time. This returns a small amount of mana to the player. Reduces the target's MP and recovers the player's MP after each of the target's turn. - MP damage/drained = 5% of the target's current MP or 5% of your total base MP, whichever is lower
Spirit Theft - Siphons off the target's spirit over time. This returns a small amount of spirit to the player. Reduces the target's SP and recovers the player's SP after each of the target's turn. - SP damage/drained = 5% of the target's current SP or 5% of your total base SP, whichever is lower
This is a bit confusing, but the wiki seems to say that the HP recovery won't be affected by your magic stats, while the HP damage has two parts, one that is affected by your magic stats, and one that is not.

Just crawling towards level 289, where I'll be able to soulfuse an item I want to use.

I found out today that random encounters are a thing. My original plan was to get soul fragments from the item shop at 1000 credits each, lol.
I also figured out yesterday that trading with others is possible and sold some energy drinks. Using the credits from that, I bought some hath, and now I have level 2 Innate Arcana, from having no Innate Arcana at all. It is quite an improvement!

Congratulations! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) Btw if you bought your hath from the exchange page I recommend you to use the WTB section next time, if you have patience you'll get your hath for less credits and the seller will get more too if you set a fair price.

QUOTE(Uncle Stu @ Jan 5 2019, 01:52) You know you could have asked in the experts topic right? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) I didn't think I needed to, since I felt like I was doing alright. But I just checked the topic and found out that since I posted in the forums, I now get double experience. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I actually used to play Hentaiverse many years ago; back then I levelled as a mage and got all my gear from the Equipment Store. Apparently you're not supposed to level as a mage though, lol. So when I started playing again recently, I switched to a melee two-handed build and it's much better now. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) I might ask for some advice in the experts topic after all, there might be more information I'm still missing. I was a bit impatient and didn't think it'd make a huge difference. Why is it better for the seller to use MoogleMail? Is there an extra fee for selling hath or something?

Yes, there is a transaction fee. The more hath you are going to buy the higher the difference will be at the end, but if the difference it's worth the effort of opening a wtb thread and wait for a seller it's up you. Example; Sellers at the time of writing this can sell their hath at 4021 each (and only up to 78) and you can buy them on the same page at 4075 (but only up to 17), so you can open a thread on the wtb section and set a price of 4030-4050 or something like that. You pay less, and the seller gets more too. This post has been edited by Xythy: Jan 5 2019, 04:23
