I guess the math is 135%/130% = 103.846% but I'm wondering how it stacks with Godslayer +10% damage. It could be 145%/140% = 103.571%, do we know for sure?

What about the +25% damage from Heartseeker? I suppose it could be 170%/165% = 103.03% with worst case stacking.

That's not really a field we can investigate easily, sadly. And I don't have a solid answer to that.
If someone wants to try, feel free to do so.

But given how the rest of the game is made, it is very likely that these bonuses are layered (in opposition to being additive).

It was taking too long to buy haths and bitcoins happened to crash yet again, so I just splurged $200 and sold 2 gold stars to a hath lord. I bought Dæmon Duality 5, going from 1 to 5 at once, and the improvement is disappointing. I only feel about the same improvement as DD1 in regular arenas.

Then I ran DwD once and my turns only improved by 10%, matching my feeling. I guess I should have tested carefully, but too late now.

I suppose anyone can test it even without scripts. Do End of Days and hit Schoolgirls, manually checking the log for the range (highest and lowest possible value) of your void strike damage. That's how I did some of my earlier tests investigating Imperil stacking, etc. Then buy DD1, trigger the perk and immediately test again.

I recently determined that (most?) hath perks can indeed be forced to trigger by changing equipment sets and changing back, or by simply changing any equipment and changing back.

It's not a discovery that anything beyond DD1 only brings in a subtantial improvement.
It's really the perks to get last. Well, actually the last before Manehattan and FoS.

I realized that I can still test Demon Duality stacking after all, by instead verifying the Heartseeker bonus. If stacking is additive the Heartseeker bonus should become less. So here goes.

Conclusion: Heartseeker (+25%), Overwhelming Strikes (+15%), Spirit Stance (+100%), and Demon Duality indeed all stack in multiplicative layers. There is no loss due to additive stacking, aside from Demon Duality with itself. I will test Godslayer on the next day by turning myself into Newbie.

And what about crits? Why do they not appear in your list? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

All drop trainings maxed, just need to get crys5 and token3 now. Might take a while though.

Crits don't appear because Void Strike can't crit, but that's exactly what I wanted for the purposes of this test.

Strangely, it appears that Godslayer boosts my damage output by 15.5% instead of 10% as stated, so the test is inconclusive. Can others test this?

Using different methods or scripts to gather data is fine, we just need to try to investigate Godslayer now.
