That's a small part of the reason I went wild and max forged my first slaughter armor. At my level wearing slaughter will get me killed unless it's upgraded a bit. Sure enough, my mitigations stayed the same after changing.

I'll show you my new shield later, right now it has no name so it is embarassing. It already came with max block forge. I am debating how much to forge the rest because high grade wood is expensive.

I consider my current buckler to be the best purchase I have ever made by far at only 50k and an awesome free IW thanks to TygerTyger, and the below one was from freeshop and the second best free equipment I ever received, also came with that free IW.

I think the second one is terrible, much worse then a mediocre mag. of force, and more then 100 lv. behind you too. If you manage to sell it, I wouldn't hesitate if I was you, believe me.

The first one at least is not too far from your level, and the block is a bit better, but still ... 30.81 base block when you're level 350+ ? Even my shitty [url=https://hentaiverse.org/equip/114745177/8625ce4dbf] Magnificent Force Shield of Stoneskin

Mitigating is the job of your power armor. It does it like twice better than your shield. The only suffix you want on a Buckler is Barrier, and nothing else. Not even Nimble, because it sucks (I've tried). Not even battlecaster, because that's the job of your weapon.
And kites are shit. If you really want Protection/Warding, get it on a force shield.

kites is still a good budget alternative for low level, at the very least you don't have to look for specific suffix/prefix for 30+ base block on mag tier, and it's cheap AF when there's anybody selling it.
the higher burden is easy to deal with, moreover it's not like that getting below 70 burden is really hard for 1h-heavy.

I was hoping for 2 potencies for better stacking, it messed up in the end as usual. I also replaced my gloves and pants. My new stats:

For the first time, I was able to finish the shield IW in one day, with the help of new gloves and pants and soulfused exp on the last four potencies. It took me four days to IW my pants. Surprisingly, PFUDOR IW is starting to be not much different from IWBTH IW and that was before changing the shield. I used 3~4 spirit draughts per pants IW and 1~3 spirit draughts per shield IW so the resource drain is becoming irrelevant.

I haven't had a proper level up messages for ages, instead I always start a RE with full yellow bar that turn into smaller yellow bar, no level up message, and I just see the fact that my level changed after the fight.

You don't want to know how angry I've been today, for the first time since many months, possibly more than 1 year. But do imagine how hard it is to prepare yourself in the last rounds, in order not to throw your keyboard away, as you have IW7 Jug 4, IW8 Jug4, then IW9 Jug4.

Same for J5C5, IW9 J5C4 or J4C5 -> IW10 J5C4/J4C5 Trashproof Lv.1, happened in my goddamn 4 pieces, spent total 1300+ AS. It is quite often to get undesired potency/unable to get desired lv at last tier, the only reason for such mechanism exist is probably pissing off everyone I guess, and consume you more AS with time.

I won't even have the foolishness of trying to get the #1 perfect potency on anything when it comes to armor. Jug5 is already enough of a bitch by itself, so let's not even try J5C5. Weapons have it cooler regarding that.
