I already told you, you should play on pc since you get better t/s and I imagine moving a mouse is easier than a thumb on a display, but you want to play on your phone (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/faint.gif)

GS is almost 10 times more expensive then adept 300 and adept 200 is very affordable (~1,7m)

It's bad advice to get a gold star first before adept learner at those levels because of how expensive they are.

I'm not adamant about not playing on PC because I had a blast playing HV on a desktop years ago.

I would love to play HV on a desktop again but for more than a few hours if I could without borrowing one from someone that I know or going to the library.

I level up adept learner solely for more exp if I want more proficiency then I'll just level up Assimilator again.

Assimilator imo isnt really worth it. I mean i remember i did train level 6 a few level ago and that wasnt even enough for me to reach even a single level of prociency above my level. So i did got nothing for my money.

Both level and prof are good reasons to train some (at least to adept 100), but if you close to GS I'd focused on it (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

Cloth and staff prof finally reached my current level!

I wonder how many levels it will take to reach my 1h & heavy armor prof (418). >.>

Me and vincento were too conservative in estimating the forge experience. I just reached forge level 50 in a day with most of the rapier, most of 1 power armor, and thanks to the help of 1 more equipment I borrowed. I'm still lacking bindings to finish.

If you can afford (or be helped) to max out 3 things at the same time you can reach forge 50 easily. 2 power armors and no rapier might be enough because you can upgrade all the side stats like mitigations for cheap.

If you want to reach forge 50 cheaper, you could upgrade a decent weapon as much as you can and use it, then when you get a better weapon you salvage it and upgrade that one. If you repeat this for 3 weapons you might reach forge 50. However you waste several million credits this way from salvaging.

I'm also amazed by how much item world experience you get from max forging, it's roughly enough for an IW10. I bought dark descent and it works great together.

Especially if soulfused, if you'll max forge you can do the first 4~6 potencies of your equipment instantly and keep using amnesia shards for almost unlimited times. Then do conventional IW for the last few levels. This way you don't waste your time and drop potential playing the first 4~6 levels at low difficulty to unlock one or two potencies at a time. The cost of such IW is only the cost of the amnesia shards, nearly 0 credits/pxp.

another thing you can do to gain forge XP is to repair all equipment before selling it. the XP gain is low, but so is the cost
