QUOTE(Paff444 @ Jul 20 2018, 05:29) 17 minutes PFUDwD, still a lot of room to improve. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif) You need less turns than I do (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) That's why I'm tempted to try holy recently. The only shortcoming is non-imp needs a ton of forging to survive PFDfest.

QUOTE(Majin Hanako @ Jul 20 2018, 03:45) Even at my fastest with 1H it still takes me over 40 minutes (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) QUOTE(rokyroky @ Jul 20 2018, 15:13) And i have made it once in under 35 minutes. So what? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Mage is playstyle that totally broke the game. So just because they can clear DwD in a ridiculous time doesnt mean your time is bad and you all have achieved nothing. My first DwD ever took me more than 4 hours. And i am proud that i am able to do it so much faster now. I am sure you did also improve your time quite a bit so you should be proud too. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

Only mages can actually perform what he did.

The only shortcoming is non-imp needs a ton of forging to survive PFDfest. I'm not sure if it's worth to switch style just because of a few turns (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) . I think dark mage needs more turns, but holy has longer clear time early on, because dark proc gives a 10% damage reduction, which makes you stop less on cures in the long run. That makes me believe dark mage can survive deeper in GFest.

Not really (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) If you are aiming for PFDfest, elementals are always better. much much better. The base cast speed of T1/T2/T3 holy/dark spells are 1.4/1.6/1.8, while elementals are 1.0/1.2/1.4 respectively. So holy/dark always need more defensive forging, and more consumables. Oak staff offers supportive prof, which also improves your cures. Last question. Do you use imperil, or imperil only on SGs, or no imperil at all? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) I use "partial imperil" for most arenas, since Oak staff has no deprecating prof, imperil success rate is terrible, so I can't rely on it. If I try to go with no imperil, I hit red health right away, that's why I usually go on by casting imperil once or twice regardless success if too many monsters. But overall the effect is not so noticeable since imperil is only 25% for holy/dark, (although my holy imperil is not maxed out since it requires lv375). Probably after forging int/wis on staff/shoes I won't need imperil at all, though it helps kill SGs a bit faster. Deprecating proficiency reached my level, finally. This was accomplished by using Imperil once in every RE I done since the proficiency change update.
