Better drain actually works now, but I've never used it in light armor. If you have the points, it's totally worth it if you need extra tankiness. And unlike the other thefts, you always get the max value from it. Regen restores 1472 points of health. You drain 1038 points of health from Alkalurops. You shouldn't really need it on iwbth, though. How much attack speed and evade do you have? On 5 and 6 monster rounds, you shouldn't need weaken. On 7+, you can use drain instead of weaken and save time on debuffs and heals (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I've had my Drain skills maxed out on both of my Personas since I was fairly low level, but I haven't used Spirit Drain or Magic Drain. They can actually be useful on a warrior?

Ether Drain can definitively be, I'm always lacking mana. Spirit drain not really, just take a spirit draught and you'll never run out.

Aren't you considering retirement? You know, taking a brake from the grinding for a while? Before you do, maybe you can sell off some equips.

I don't wanna be rude, but what is the use of everyone posting his ED drops, aside from showing off? We already know the probabilities related to ED, so it's perfectly useless.
It'd be much more helpful to gather the data needed for the ongoing studies when it's asked.

I always thought Magic Drain was attractive, but wouldn't a warrior waste mana casting wimpy Forbidden spells first, then waste even more mana to cast Drain? Does the Magic Drain give you more back?
Not to mention the tremendous amounts of Ability points necessary to train up Drain (I've already trained mine) then Ether and Spirit Theft, then the Dark/Holy Procs, then the Dark/Holy magic itself?

speaking of which, have you tried the damage log i've added to monsterbation and is it sufficient for the research you've been meaning to do?

Well, is this thread for HV RESEARCH and only USEFUL DATA is allowed? There are so many 'useless' posts (in your view), which are not forbidden and no one point out them. This post has been edited by sssss2: May 23 2018, 08:44

Everyone is welcome to post what she/he wants (within the rules, of course). Please do share accomplishments like shrining impressive amounts of PA's. This post has been edited by DJNoni: May 23 2018, 09:30

seems to confirm your previous analysis, in which odds were 1:1:1:2, and every crystal type has the same chance. good, good. ssss's datas tend to be more analytical than the average. you know like me that large pools are more appreciated than smaller ones, and these are good datas imo - even if they confirm something we already knew. if nothing else, this is a good example of how a data report should be posted. however, since we now know that this data is reliable, maybe people may cross this from their list of priorities and move to retrieve other things. let's make this thread great again! ... and not to whine when you shrine 10 of them and earn only 1 ED or such, since it's still well within the realm of RNG. This post has been edited by Scremaz: May 23 2018, 13:36
