Wouldnt be surprised if someone would actually do that. A PHOH alone should already be over $1000, it could probably reach 10 digits nowdays.

Maybe they would.
Maybe someone would go to their BTC account and send $1,000 to the site in exchange for a PHOH.
I mean.. I've literally "drove" 30 minutes countless times to a BTC ATM to give 15 times that for "no" PHOH.
So yeah... You're right... It's possible. If a person has the discretionary income, it's possible.

So far, I only know of 7 PHOHs that exist, and as far as I have found out, only 6 of those even maxed out on their lottery tickets for the drawing.

Lv 467 (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

And 11500 ADB (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

And still, it takes me 8 minutes to clear the 80 rounds arena (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif)

What is the difference in time (and turns) between DD0 (without DD (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) ), DD1 and DD2? It is something meaningful?

There is difference, but not that much. Depends on playstyle, I guess. 10% less turns is achievable with DD1, 5% with DD2. Then it gets far less impressive. So I'm considering saving for DD6.

I can't really tell (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

If we were still in HV 0.84, probably I would've felt the whole 15% damage of the two perks (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif)

The last "data" I have is that, to clear the 80 rounds arena, I need 1600 turns or so.

I'm just buying perks when they become cheaper than just hoarding bindings of slaughter and actuators for the sake of seeing the ADB number grow (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

DDs are very effective for melees, DD1 instant -10%time. At the time my 1h needed 4600turns to finish DWD. After I got DD1, it's instantly almost 400turns faster.
For mages, it's ppl smaller effect, and it would be even smaller, with a diminishing return for each DD you buy in terms of non-SG runs.

Putting those 8m+ on forging, I would've ppl got similar results. But since DD is eternal, you don't need to worry about replacing armors.
Anyway, DD1 is really good. After that, DD2~DD5 are still good, but diminishing returns. DD5+ are only for people who are really rich.

My investment in this site to count all Adopt a servers, all gold stars sold, and my own gold stars is...

Maybe they would. Maybe someone would go to their BTC account and send $1,000 to the site in exchange for a PHOH.

I tried to donate $200 to get a Peerless Demonic Rapier of Slaughter but wasn't able to find Gold Star buyers in time to win that auction. With current prices you get more credits for selling Gold Stars than doing Adopt-A-Server, right?

Cryosite won a couple of lotteries in a row a while back with just a few tickets, so my guess is that their randomizer is funky.

Selling gold stars will net you more credits than adopt-a-server, though the latter is the hassle-free option as you only need to do a single trade and you wont have to deal with buyers problems.

Anyways if you are looking for the highest credit/$ ratio, the best option by far is renting a dedicated server and running H@H on it.

It is a pity. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I thought you had the data to make a comparison. More out of curiosity, to get a sense of how much I could gain from this when I get DD1. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

I thought you had the data to make a comparison.

I stopped making comparisons when people at lv 350 with 7-8k ADB clear DWD in less time than me (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Back in the day when I had around 8-9k ADB, old patch, no DD whatsoever, it was taking me 2000 turns to do the 80 rounds arena.
Now with all the perks and stuff...1.6 (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)
The game sure has changed, in worse (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif)

I think that with the old HV patch I would be way under 20 minutes for DwD clear. Not sure if closer to 15 minutes or closer to 20, but less than 20 for sure (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

Ignoring GPs..... Cause adopt a servers do generate a handful of those.
But ignoring them...

Each Adopt a Server is worth 450 HatH, so 10 of those @ ~4250 credits comes to .... carry the one.... ( I had to go there. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) )
About 19 Million credits.. or a little less taking off that 1% exchange rate.
Selling Gold Stars is outrageously more lucrative, but like you said, not many are buying them.

And yeah.. good point on repeat winners. I've noticed that a bunch of times over the last 16 or so months.
But a considerable few of those are "buying" the cheap lotteries by holding a large percentage of the total tickets.
I've done it myself.

If you do Adopt-A-Server for a long time you get discounted by half, and 38 million credits isn't that bad compared to a Gold Star. Seems about right. If the price for Gold Stars were less, everyone should spend their credits to buy "Stars" then apply the bitcoin to Adopt-A-Server to make credits out of nothing.

Thanks for the tip maybe I'll look into it someday. I'm not planning to spend any more real money for the time being unless something I want shows up. I know what's out of my league.
