Why Shadow Veil dude, what style are you playing?
First two slots should be for Spark Of Life and Spirit Shield, then maybe Haste.

I'm pondering over shadow veil and spirit shield, thing is that even when ability maxed shadow veil lasts the shortest, and personally I often forget to recast it or got more important stuff to spend mana on. I don't sit in spirit stance all the time because I like slapping half on mobs with skyward sword, and when I want to K.O them at once I cast spirit shield for safety measures and 1shotgone.

Find all Magnificents/Legendaries somehow, and maybe switch to 1H honestly.

Actually I have no innate arcana at all either, but I feel like use too many support in battle, like protect then spirit shield then regen for the first. And while the rounds are getting rough I cast haste and shadow veil. When I got the chance of channeling I cast heartseeker.

And is it really helpful to have innate arcana? Sorry I'm really new about this.

It seems like you should slow down a bit about leveling because your equipment have to get better. I used niten+heavy armor from lv.11x to lv.250 and I defeated a lot. I change to rapier+shield. I grew my required profs for 1H slowly while still got defeated a lot, but when I got my profs better and my required equipment getting better, I played the battle easily. I'm still searching for better equipment right now because I want to reach the pfudor so I have to battle a lot with a bit low exp gain (I try IW).

And maybe someday I can PFUfest in 30minutes...

I will be switching to different builds / styles over time for now I'm quite happy with ninten, it doesn't seem like a good idea does it? But who cares lol, who knows maybe even being this invested in HV right now I will get bored of it eventually and become more active putting up content instead or doing bounties. 'S all good in the hood bruv. It would be even better if HV had some sort of co-op play in 1v1 2vs2 5vs5 for example turn timed player vs player battles where each player puts on their bets in credits and the winner(s) gets all or it gets split evenly. Even an option to bet items on players, say someone bets a rare anything that they will defeat you, and if they do they get some extra + item they've placed back and if they don't win you get it not putting in anything. Tough a filter would have to be in place for things like that because people like Maximum_Joe would get spammed to death. This idea just came to me now, possibly it's not original and someone already proposed this, sounding silly and not realizing how much hardware would need to be improved, but surely it would make things more fun.

Have understanding for a freshman like me man, it's all new for me, anything that's being discovered is exciting and you want more of it all time. This game is monotonous, but I gotta tell you that it's 100 times more challanging than WoW that I used to play long ago, and that's the fun of it. Like as013 said before in this thread, with his gear he has so much resist and mitigation that with a regen monsters do almost nothing to him on PFUDOR (1h/shield style) but he invested milions of credits and time for it, and that's not even his final form. While it's comfy to sit and press one button it eventually becomes less and less engaging, and sometimes you gotta lose to feel the freshness of winning. Earning gear myself is also part of the game, while it's super nice of people to giving a shit about low levels wasting hours to put items on auction, replying to all the posts I for most part want to get the gear myself and if I don't, well - tough shit.
But I will be definetely toning down on my pace of leveling, and instead maybe look for some achievable bounties or contests. So if you really want to, for a small price of about 60m credits you will be able to faceroll anything on PFUDOR, and if you're a good boy you'll even decerase your damage and evade bonus from settings (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

It would be even better if HV had some sort of co-op play in 1v1 2vs2 5vs5

I know that feeling, because I had it when I was lv.24x-25x, but if you got defeated a lot then there's no other choice. Slowing down, change fighting style, and search for a better equipments for a good/fun/easier play (on ultimate difficulty) rather than spending credits on repairing from defeated...

As any good scrubnub shoud I was reaading the Do's and Don'ts thread, I remember it said to not waste credits on Scavenger because in the end it's extremely expensive and gives little effect. The question here is, does it work the same for Luck of the Draw +1% rare drop chance. (and what is a rare by defintion in HV? only stuff like consumables/collectibles or can equip be also a rare (like magnificent or above)?

All of that shit to make them less happy and more hungry so they will eventually die or I won't keep up with feeding them? As I asked in ''Ask the experts'' thread before they said that if monster doesn't bring a thing for 3 days, then it does automatically and that you cannot make them do more battles, thus brining more items. Teach me, onegai o kudasai shimasu.

Why is that? Is there a general site to see what types of attacks do monsters use and at what difficulty? Obviously in the wiki you have all about the rare mobs, so it's pretty easy to figure out what to do in PFUDOR against top RoB, even having shit gear like I did. It's impossible to keep up with the battle log to see what damage does what, +remembering or noting it down extremely time consuming and above all exceptionally autistic, since there must be something about it. I mean who even uses scan and why if damage types are in wiki and for lower mobs monsterbation tells you everything. (I realize it could've been useful in ancient HV times). I knew that holy, dark and void are the 3 damage types one should be making, but in my experience all mobs got pretty much all standard of melee damage and piercing is the most troublesome, followed by crushing and slashing.
