Welp, I gained the Channeling buff which decreases the mana cost of the following spell down to 1 and because Heartseeker costs 214mana, it couldn't be helped. It was all or nothing, I guess

For example in the midst of arena, it's OK to utilize the channeling for saving MP since arena has multiple rounds. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
But it's different on random encounter at low level user. It is one-round battle, so you don't need to save your resources - like potions and even scrolls.

Edit:
FYI Heartseeker takes long time to cast and the monsters can do 2~3 consecutive attacks while you are casting it.
So it's dangerous to cast it before you already casted Protection, Regen, and Haste when you're at low level and don't have enough defense.
