I'm pretty sure that's why Super introduced proxy bidding to begin with (it's easy to be distracted and losing for those kind of reasons feels bad).

No, that bonus is unique to REs.

Grindfests get extra crystal drops and also have a multiplier to how many crystals you get per drop. A player with the maxed Crystarium perk would get 6+ full crystal packs per PFUDORfest. That's the main advantage of the fest. Without Crystarium (and Tokenizer), it's really not worth it, especially after the heavy hellfest nerf in the recent patch.

No, but the high amount of monsters effectively gives you a higher chance per round than for arenas. And random encounters don't really have any higher chance either: it's more that they have a higher chance to drop an equipment, period. And as a consequence, you're more likely to get just anything, including a legendary.
